Listen to the song by Seal,, it really does represent TenRose. Or at least I think it does,, enjoy :)

A lot had happened that day, even if she was possessed by Cassandra for most of it, it was still her body and she still remembered everything that had happened, including the- never mind. Quite frankly, she was embarrassed by it all, of course she had wanted to do that she loved him, but she didn't want to do it against his will and preferably when she was in her right mind.

Inside the TARDIS, Rose sat uncomfortably on the jump seat with crossed legs, staring at the Doctor. He was sat on the grating trying to fix some wiring which he seems to be failing at. At the sight of him get shocked by the wire instead, she grinned but the awful memory of what had happened in the hospital flooded her mind again.

He hadn't said much to her after they had got back to the TARDIS and Rose came to the conclusion that it was because of what happened today. He hated her, she knew it. Her first trip with this new Doctor and now he probably wanted nothing more than to drop her back off in London and never speak to her again.

Rose's shoulders slumped as the idea settled in her mind, she had loved the previous incarnation of the Doctor and now this one too. However any hopes or chances of it being reciprocated had surely been shattered now. It shouldn't, but it left cracks in her heart.

Silence encased the TARDIS for a few more minutes as the Doctor continued to try and fix the wiring. Rose stared at him, longing for him to say something, yet nothing came.

It wasn't until Rose decided to leave the console room that the Doctor said something to her. Typical.

"Where are you going?" He asked, jumping up off the grating.

"Just to my room?" Rose responded nervously, stopping in her tracks.

"Why?"

Usually in this situation, someone would get annoyed at the inquisitive behaviour but Rose could only smile, perceiving this as him caring just like his old self. But memories of only a few hours ago flooded her mind. She cringed once more.

"Just tired, s'all." Rose answered.

Luckily he didn't press on and just smiled at her, "Makes sense, Cassandra being inside your head for half the day must've been taxing on you."

Rose nodded slightly and left the room. Cassandra. That was the last thing she wanted on her mind, that was the reason she'd left him alone anyways. Contradicting her own thoughts, she assumed the Doctor was glad she had left the console room. When she- Cassandra had kissed him, he didn't even kiss back... not like she expected him to. Rose had just secretly hoped that he would've done something, grab her hips, her waist, just something! Something to show maybe he liked her like that, but nothing.

Sighing heavily, she opened the door to her room and dropped herself face forward onto her bed. Maybe falling asleep would somehow make the events of New Earth disappear?

The Doctor had known Rose Tyler for a year and he knew something was bothering her. When they had got back inside the TARDIS she was uncharacteristically quiet, which was the first warning sign. The second one was her leaving the room so early on. With his ninth self she'd stayed in the console room with him until she physically couldn't keep her eyes open anymore. Today he wrote it off of it being due to Cassandra possessing her, but she had seemed fine when they left the hospital and dropped Cassandra/Chip off to see their past self.

Was it the new regeneration? The clothes? The hospital today? The- oh. It dawned on him on what it could be. The Doctor's heart dropped slightly, she hated him for it didn't she? He had to apologise, he couldn't have Rose wanting leave, he just couldn't.

Taking off down the corridor, he darted for Rose's room only to run straight into her when turning a corner.

"Doctor?"

"Rose." He breathed, "I'm so sorry." He rubbed his neck anxiously.

"S'okay."

"Right, Rose you don't hate me do you?" The Doctor blurted out.

A confused look came across her face, "Why would I hate you?"

"Because of what happened between me and you- Cassandra in the hospital! Me kissing you when you weren't in your right mind and then avoiding you, which I never intended to do, so please don't think it was. Oh and now you were probably coming to find me to ask me to drop you home because-"

"Doctor."

"Rose?"

"Breathe. And what are on about? Of course I don't hate you and if you recall, Cassandra was the one kissing you. I'm not going to ask you to take me home. Unless you want me to-"

"No!" The Doctor cried quickly, "I don't want you to go, I'd rather want you to stay." He stepped closer to her. Taking a deep breath, he reached for her hand and she obliged, "I hated it you know."

Rose furrowed her brows and pulled her hand back, "Well thanks Doctor, that makes me feel loads better."

"When I realised it wasn't you!" He added. "Rose Tyler, I'd like to kiss you, on your terms."

Rose simply grinned, "I'd like to do the same, on your terms."

The Doctor dipped his head and Rose stood up on her tip-toes to meet him half way. It was a soft, tender kiss; they both pulled back for a moment before the Doctor grabbed Rose's waist to pull her close and she threw her arms around his neck. Now he had her permission, he wasn't short of completely devouring her lips.

As they continued to kiss, the Doctor moved his hands to her back and pressed his hands under Rose's shirt to slowly draw circles with his fingertips. She gasped at the contact, breaking the kiss, but it only allowed the Doctor access to her neck. Lightly, he pressed kisses to her neck before coming back up to meet her lips.

"Since the time we travelled to Cardiff, you've been driving me crazy and now I can have you I don't think I can stop," He kissed her hard again, "And your room is just down the corridor, so maybe you'd want to- I don't know-"

Rose tugged softly on his hair, making him look at her, "Yes."

The Doctor grinned, lifted Rose by her waist so she wrapped her legs around his waist and carried her to her room.

A few hours later, the two of them laid under the covers in Rose's bed with the Doctor led on top of Rose. They laid there in comfortable silence, she played with his hair whilst he held her tight, arms wrapped around her waist and his head on her chest.

"I love you." He whispered against her chest, like it was a secret.

Rose smiled at the words, particularly liking the way they reverberated through her body. Wrapping a leg around his waist, she leaned down and kissed his head, "I know."

The Doctor let out a breathless laugh, "This is the part where you say it back." He smiled.

"I know," She said cheekily, "And I do, I love you too."

He tightened his grip on her, kissed her chest then captured her lips once more, "I love you more."

She smiled down at him. The two soon fell asleep, wrapped in the comfort of each other's arms.
