Just realised it's been a few months since I last updated - oops.

Welcome back everyone, I hope you're all well,

Enjoy x

Rose, quite frankly, was annoyed with the way the Doctor was acting recently. Flirting with every alien woman in the universe and even her from time to time, but then never let it go any further. He would flirt, but when Rose tried to bring the subject up, he would dismiss her or begin to talk about something else entirely. Rose had had enough.

So when her best friend Keisha called her and asked her to go clubbing with her and their other friend Shireen, Rose couldn't resist. If the Doctor wasn't going to give her the attention he gave everyone else then she may as well try and find it in a club on her home planet.

When Rose walked into the console room, she found the Doctor sat reading on the jump seat undisturbed. She smiled slightly to herself as she watched him from afar. His time lord senses must have told him she was there because he suddenly looked up to meet her gaze. Beginning to feel flustered at the frozen eye contact they shared, Rose broke away first looking down at the floor with her cheeks tinting pink.

"Rose?" The Doctor questioned.

"Hm?" Her gazed was forced back to his.

"Did you need something?"

They were in the vortex right now, the Doctor had decided she needed some rest and he would simply wait until she was ready. It was moments like these that Rose really didn't want to break, they both held eye contact again and neither seemed bothered by it. Realising she had been staring, Rose broke the moment by finding herself stumbling over her words.

"Well, um," She cleared her throat, "My friend Keisha has asked if I wanted to go clubbing, so I wanted you to take us back to Earth?" Rose played with her hands as she gauged his reaction. Deep down she hoped the Doctor would come with her, so maybe she could tell him how she felt, or she could find some human man to see if it would make him jealous.

All hopes of him returning her feelings were shattered when a disgusted look came across his face and answered, "Clubbing? Rose why on Earth would you want to do that?"

"It's just something to do, and with my friends, if I didn't know you that's what I would be doing." She shrugged.

"Are you bored? Because I can find somewhere that's really exciting." He said, panic lining his voice and worry written on his face.

"I'm not bored," Rose reassured the Doctor, "It's just something that can give us a break but will also be quite fun, plus Keisha won't stop asking until I actually go."

"Hold on, 'us'?" The Doctor furrowed his brows, disregarding everything else she had just said.

Blush rose to her cheeks once more, "Well, I was thinking maybe you'd like to come too?" Her voice was hopeful.

He just scoffed but let a smirk rest on his lips, "Rose I've never been to a club in all my nine hundred years of living, there's no way you'll get me into one of them."

"Suit yourself," She said, a little salty, "I'm going to get ready."

Walking down to the TARDIS wardrobe, she huffed to herself. Caught up in her own feelings, she rolled her eyes at how they almost always did what he wanted but as soon as she wanted to do something it was ridiculous. One could argue that Rose still went with the Doctor when they did what he wanted, but why wouldn't she? She was completely in love with him and was willing to do anything for him, even if she hated it. Part of her had just hoped he'd feel the same way towards her, turns out she was wrong.
