The first of many Taylor Swift song fics;)

Thirteen and Rose my loves<3

{many apologies if 13 doesn't 'sound' like 13, I tried my best:)}

We could leave the Christmas lights up 'til January

And this is our place, we make the rules,

"Doctor, are we going to take the Christmas decorations down any time soon?" Rose smirked as she watched the Doctor dance around the console which was still covered in tinsel.

"Why would we do that? They're lovely!" The Doctor pouted at her.

Rose's smirk morphed into a warm smile, quickly rushing over to her to side to grab her hand. "I'm just saying, it's almost January."

"We're on a time machine, Rose!"

"By that logic then it could be summer, can't have Christmas decorations up in the summer." Rose smiled that Rose Tyler smile with her tongue between her teeth and the Doctor had to fight the urge to snog her right there and then.

"Is that cheek I'm getting from you Rose Tyler?" The Doctor grinned at her.

"Maybe."

The Doctor pulled Rose closer and placed a firm kiss on her lips, moving her hand into her hair, enjoying the feel of the soft locks through her hands.

"It's our TARDIS, Rose Tyler, we can make up the rules." The Doctor grinned at her.

"How about we never take them down?"

"Sounds like a plan."

And there's a dazzling haze, a mysterious way about you dear,

Rose Tyler had been and always would be a mystery to the Doctor. She would never understand how she was able to weave herself into her life, or how she managed to make her carefully built walls crumble to pieces with the simplest touch of her warm hand.

The Doctor remembered the time on the game station when she had returned as the Bad Wolf. The image of golden light surrounding her, encompassing her, would never leave his mind. She was beautiful, but never again did she want to see her Rose like that.

It still played on her mind, how Rose had managed to last that long with the time vortex inside her head, but that was something the Doctor decided she didn't need to know.

Have I known you 20 seconds or 20 years?

When the Doctor walked into the library, she immediately spotted Rose, who had a speculative look upon her face.

"What are you concentrating on so hard about?" The Doctor asked, leaning against the back of the sofa.

Rose turned to look up at her, giving her a warm smile, "I was thinking about how long I've known you?"

She scrunched her face up at that, "Why you thinking of that for? I could probably tell you it's around-"

Rose listened briefly, as the doctor told her the exact length of them knowing each other, letting her words wash over her again and again. Like waves always returning to the beach.

"Actually I was thinking about how it feels like I've known you for so long but also so little at the same time. Is it because we're on the TARDIS?" Rose added cheekily.

"Hmm, could be." The Doctor grinned, "But it just means we have so much time together."

Can I go where you go?

As Rose walked through Primark, the Doctor clutched her hand tightly even as she bounced around beside her. It was like every electronic particle inside of her was buzzing, sending vibrations all throughout her body, so much so that Rose could feel them through their joint hands.
