He knew that the alien he was looking for was somewhere on that planet, so he set a course right away, flipping switches and pushing buttons which left Rose thoroughly confused as he hadn't said a word to her since she walked in.

"Are we going somewhere?"

He didn't look up or even answer verbally, just nodded.

Rose gave him a curious look, they were going somewhere but hadn't told her and now he wasn't speaking to her. That thought lead frustration to bubble up inside of her, was he ignoring her?

"Do I need to change?" She asked.

Finally, he met her eyes and looked her up and down. "Yes."

Now feeling her irritation beginning to bubble over, her arms crossed over her chest as she slumped into the jump seat.

"Gonna tell me what I should change into?"

"Bar, night club, whatever it is that you wear when you go out."

Rose scoffed at his bluntness, "Great." She answered, her teeth gritted. Having had enough of him being like this, she got off of the seat and stormed her way to the TARDIS wardrobe.

What had she done? Was it something to do with their last trip? Did she take too long to get to the console room? Had she said something insensitive towards him?

All these ideas were ridiculous, the TARDIS seemed, Rose had done nothing of the sort and the ship too was confused as to why her Thief was acting this way.

"Do you know why he's acting like this?" Rose asked, looking up to the ceiling as she made her way to the 21st Century section of clothes and began shuffling through the dresses.

The TARDIS gave her a hum, telling her that she did not know the answer to her question. Rose sighed but thanked the ship for her efforts to help.

In the dresses section, she stumbled across a deep red dress with a knee-high slit and spaghetti straps. Rose grinned at it, "This is gorgeous."

The TARDIS hummed in giddy agreement, urging her to get the dress on immediately. Rose grinned even more and slipped into the dress, matching it with red open-toed heels before going to pull her hair into a mid ponytail, leaving two strands to frame her face. Makeup wasn't that important to her, after all, she didn't really know what to expect from where they were going. It was settled by the TARDIS that her makeup would be simple with a hint of mascara and pink lipstick.

Pleased, Rose grabbed an even deeper red fur coat, pulled it on then walked out of the wardrobe back to the console room.

He hadn't changed his suit. She chastised herself for thinking that he would, he never did. She stepped into the console room and over to the jump seat without saying a word, he had made it clear that he didn't want to speak with her.

This made Rose begin to overthink their friendship. Was he bored of her? After all she was only human, nothing that special. Or maybe she was just someone he could show off to, a person to boast to and show how brilliant he was, being a superior time lord and all.
During her travels with the Doctor, she'd slowly wanted them to be more than friends, she was under the impression that they were or could be on similar pages, maybe she was completely wrong.
