"Tita Chione, Raven is not going to go to that ceremony for me. She's going to see his favorite cold-hearted person."

I rolled my eyes at him before looking in front of the mirror to fix myself, too.

"Ikaw nga ang ipupunta ko roon, Kuya. Bonus na lang na nandoon si Aidon."

I turned around to face him when I did not hear a response. He's smirking devilishly at his phone camera, taking pictures.

"Julian told me that you're still crazy over him." His smirk quickly faded as he finished maneuvering his phone. He probably posted his photo or sent it to one of his girls.

That guy! I can still clearly remember how angry Kuya was when he found out about Aidon not wanting to marry me that day. He was livid, he broke one of a chair's legs.

I told him that it's not Aidon's responsibility to like me, so we should not take it against him. We must not expect that we'll be loved by everybody. That isn't how the world works. That isn't how hearts act. And it's our responsibility to be mature enough to accept matters like that.

I said, not wanting to point out that he's just bitter up to now. Baka maalala niya pa at pumangit lalo ang timpla. Moving up pa naman niya ngayon.

"And you don't call us gossiper, we're caring brothers."

"Tumigil na nga kayong magkapatid. Mamaya magkakapikunan pa kayo."

"Si Kuya kasi, Tita. Ang dumi ng isip."

Kuya just made a face at me before scrolling through his phone again. He then walk his way out of his room to answer a call.

I looked at myself again in the mirror. My hand touched the heart pendant of the gold necklace. It matched so well with my spaghetti strap A-line dress. Tita Chione smiled as she took a picture of me.

"You look so much like your Mom, very beautiful... Raven."

"Behave, Raven." Kuya said before leaving us to sit with his batchmates.

I just chuckled at his stupidity.

That must be her mother. She kind of looked like her or maybe it's just because of their stoic faces.

Kuya received many awards so Tita Chione had to go back and forth to the stage for that.
