Lindsey smiled as she woke up to help her sister today. She had to go through her parents belongs to put on display at the founders ball. She smiled as she walked downstairs with a smile. "Hey."

"Hi." She replies and looked at her. "What do we have so far?"

"So far, I just have one box done." Elena tells her.

Lindsey nodded as she started helping. Elena found a watch that was on the list and started to clean it. Lindsey heard fighting and sighed as she looked at them. She smiled as she got most of the stuff Carol wanted till she heard arguing. She looked at them and sighed. "Do you two have to do this all the time?" Lindsey asked. "You two argue more after mom and dad passed. Now, I'm just tired of it."

Jeremy looked at Elena and walked away. Elena sighed as she knew she upsetted her sister. Lindsey still hates when they fight and always will.

Lindsey was walking when she saw Bonnie and Caroline. Instead of interrupting, she walked inside to get her a lunch. "Lindsey, what brings you by?" Vicki asked.

"Getting away from drama at home." She replies making Vicki sit in front of her.

"I'm guessing they fought again."

"When don't they?" Lindsey says. "It was over a stupid watch that Carol needs, but dad promised Jeremy the watch.'

Vicki sighed as she knew how Lindsey is. The girl hated when her family has problems. "The food is on the house."

Tyler saw Lindsey Gilbert and wondered what she was doing at the grill. "Why not take Lindsey?"

"Because she will be Matt's girl soon." Tyler pointed out. "Trust me, I see how he looks at the middle Gilbert. I think it should have been her first."

"Than why not Caroline..."

Lindsey smiled as she sat with Bonnie and Elena. "I'll be Bonnie's date." She said.

"At least I won't be alone."

Lindsey smiled as she walked over to her closet making Bonnie and Elena watch her get a dress out. Elena smiled at her sister's choice. "That will be perfect."

"It's the dress that mom got me before she passed. Just for this day." She said as she showed a heart locket. "Dad put pictures of us in this locket."

Elena smiled as she saw the once empty locket with them all in it. Bonnie walked over and smiled at the dress. "Beautiful dress."

"Thanks. Now I'm going to to get ready."

Bonnie waited till Lindsey was out of the room before she told Elena about Stefan. Lindsey hummed as she fixed her hair. She didn't know that Bonnie was trying to keep Elena and Stefan a part.

Lindsey arrived with Bonnie and the two started looking around. Lindsey didn't know that Bonnie walked off as she continued to look around with a smile. She stopped when she saw her parents wedding ring and smiled sadly.

Shaking her head, Lindsey continued to look around. She saw Caroline crying and walked to her. "Care?"

"Lindsey, can you take me home."

"Sure." Lindsey said as she helped Caroline leave without being seen. "I'll stay the night with you."

"Thank you." Caroline said as Lindsey drove them to the Forbes resident. "Your truly my best friend."

"I will always be there for you, Caroline. Just know that." Lindsey said as she continued to drive. Whatever happened, Lindsey Gilbert is sure to find out what got her friend upset.
