Lindsey sat in the living room reading. She heard Elena talking about not talking to Stefan in three days. "Maybe he's busy." She replies as Elena looked at her. "That's what it sounds like."

"Thanks, Lindsey."

The middle Gilbert smiled as she stood up. "I'm going to go for a walk." She tells her. "Just give him time and he'll call you."

"Okay."

Lindsey walked out of her house to see Scott. "You have got to be kidding." She said as she walked over to him. "What are you doing here?"

"Came to see if you want to hang out." He said. "I guess you had something else plan."

"Scott, is this about Elena?' She asked.

"How..."

"We've been friends for the longest time." She tells him. "Let's just go see Matt instead."

Lindsey sat reading her message from Caroline. She wasn't that big of a fan for bikini tops, but rules are rules. One thing Lindsey Gilbert can't break. "Caroline." She mumbled and started to search for a bikini top.

"Lindsey, Stefan is downstairs..."

"I'll be with you in a second, Jenna." She said as she found a top. "We can go now."

The two walked downstairs to hear talking. Lindsey smiled as they left. "Jenna, how can I help Scott move on."

"He has to give someone another chance." She said. "That's the only way he can move on."

"Or he can do what you do and talk crap to the tv." Lindsey said as Jenna looked at her. "What?"

"Hush."

Lindsey laughed as the left. She was glad she could spend time with her aunt like this. Nobody complaining about other stuff.

The next day, Lindsey arrived at the car wash and saw some cleaning. She got out getting everyone's attention as they watched the middle Gilbert take her shirt off to reveal a green colored bikini top. "Wow." Matt says.

"I never knew my best friend looked like that." Scott said as he looked at Matt. "Ask her out already."

"No." Matt tells him. "It's still..."

"Elena." Lindsey said making them look at her. "Good to know who is first."

"Linds..."

"Forget it." Lindsey said. "I shouldn't have came over here."

They watched her walk away. Elena walked over to them. "Where's Lindsey going?" She asked.

"Away from me." Matt replies as he went back to washing.

Lindsey managed to ignore Matt for the rest of the day. She may not know what Scott said, but she thinks it had something with Matt moving on. To Matt, Elena will always come first.

Elena saw her sister leave and knew she would have to talk to her, but right now, she needed to speak to Stefan.
