Lindsey was doing everything she can to avoid Elena and Matt. Scott looked at his best friend as they walked through the hall. "You do know that you can't avoid them forever." He says. "Matt wants to talk to you, but each time he does, you give him the cold shoulder."

"If he actually feels sorry than why must he try to get back with Elena or talk to her." Lindsey says as Elena walked over to them. "I'm just wasting my time if Elena is all he cares about."

Scott watched Lindsey walk away and looked at a hurting Elena. "I..."

"Don't."

After school, Lindsey had her headphones in as she went jogging. She didn't see Vicki, but she didn't care at the moment. She wanted her mind off of school, but stopped when she saw Elena. "Lindsey." Elena says as she walked over to her. "Can we talk?"

"Why?" She asked.

"I know you like Matt."

"I'm not talking about this because if I do, I'll either cry or just get pissed." She says. "Matt only has one person to love and that is you."

'Lindsey, I moved on..."

"I don't care." She said. "Everything will always be Elena while everyone else is never the one that put them first before anything or anyone. I wasted my time hoping Matt will see me more than a friend, but that didn't happen. No mater what, it will always be you."

Elena watched Lindsey walk away as she didn't know what to say. Scott looked at Matt who stood shock. "I tried to tell you that it should have been Lindsey first." He said.

Matt walked away thinking about what he had heard.

That night, Lindsey smiled as she was sipping on her juice talking to Scott. "I heard what you told your sister."

"Truth had to come out somehow." She said.

Scott looked and saw Matt and Elena. "Don't look." He said as Lindsey looked and saw why. "Lindsey..."

"I'm going to ignore him and enjoy my night."

Scott watched as Lindsey walked away knowing what she was about to do was make a mistake. Lindsey walked past Matt and Elena as she made it to the door. She walked out and found Tyler. "Please tell me you have something strong so I can forget about today."

"Here." He said. "Just do that when you get home."

"Thank you."

Scott sighed as he knew she was going to get high so she won't cry. Elena walked out and looked at Scott. "Is Lindsey out here?"

"Nope because she is going home to forget about today." Scott said as he walked away.

Lindsey laid in her bed asleep when Elena walked in. She saw what Tyler gave Lindsey, but she never touched it. She sighed as she shut the door wishing that Lindsey understands that she will find someone soon.
