Perrie could tell something was up with her girlfriend the moment she walked away from her and Alex at the airport.

She had spent Christmas with them and of course, they spoiled the shit out of her. (Alex more than Perrie but we won't get into that.) Her parents however, wanted her to spend the New Year with them so they bought her a ticket to fly back home. Y/N didn't want to go. Not only because she was gonna miss her boyfriend and girlfriend, but because she knows that home is usually depressing for her and it doesn't help that she already has depression.

Before Perrie could think anymore bad thoughts, Alex walked in with an armful of fireworks and a childish smile on his face. "We are ready for tonight!" He set the fireworks down and plopped on the couch next to Perrie. "Hmm." Alex frowned. "Everything good babe?" Perrie shook her head and buried her face in his shoulder. "Did Y/N seem off to you when she left to go home?" Alex rubbed Perrie's back. "You saw it too?" Perrie nodded. "I'm worried about her."

Alex sighed. "Me too. But how about we see how tonight goes and then call her at midnight?" Perrie nodded and kissed Alex's cheek. "Okay."

Back in the States, Y/N was not okay. Her parents had been on her about her life choices since she landed and hadn't stopped. They kept asking her about jobs, where she was living and of course, her relationship with Perrie and Alex. Y/N hated the pestering and the judging her parents were doing and wanted nothing more than to be wrapped in Alex and Perrie's arms. Her parents were currently hosting a party with their co-workers but Y/N stayed in her room.

Her thoughts were consuming her mind so she decided to scroll through Instagram. As soon as the app opened, she saw that Perrie had posted on her story. Smiling, she opened the story only for the smile to fade almost immediately. Perrie and Alex looked so happy. Y/N's heart sank. They looked so happy without her. Maybe her parents were right. Maybe the two were better off not having to drag a third wheel around.

It was around 12:30 when Perrie decided to FaceTime Y/N. "Bubs! I'm calling Y/N!" She heard hurried footsteps before seeing Alex jump over the back of the couch. "I'm here! I wanna see my baby!" Perrie giggled as the FaceTime rang twice before saying "FaceTime unavailable" Perrie frowned before trying again with the same result. Alex spoke up. "Maybe she's asleep?" Perrie shrugged before her phone rang. She answered without looking. "Y/N?" A deep voice answered. "Perrie? Has Y/N called you?" She recognized the voice as Y/N's best friend from childhood Mark.

"Mark? Why? What's wrong?" Perrie was panicking. Alex pulled out his phone to try to call Y/N. Mark sighed. "I went over to her parents house and they said that she left with Ashley to go to a party. I thought she would have called you to tell you."

Perrie tensed at the mention of Ashley. According to Mark, Ashley has had a crush on Y/N since forever. "Mark, please find her." "I will. I'll call you with updates." They said their goodbyes as Perrie hung up and buried her face in her hands. Alex sat back down and rubbed her back. "He'll find her baby. I know he will."

Y/N was currently drunk. Like super drunk. She had told Ashley that she would go out for just a couple drinks and that turned into seven. She had to lean on Ashley for balance as they began walking to the Uber Ashley called. As they reached the car, another car pulled up and out stepped Mark. "Y/N! What are you doing?"

Y/N looked confused before his face came into her line of vision. "Mark! Hey! Did you come to party?" Mark glared at Ashley who found the situation amusing. "No, Y/N I came to take you home." Y/N frowned. "But I wanna drink my problems away. Let me sulk." Mark gently picked Y/N up and set her in the car. He got in the driver side and dialed Perrie. "Perrie, I got her, she's drunk but I got her."

Y/N's head perked up. "Perrie? Is that Perrie?" Mark sighed and put the phone on speaker. "Y/N? Babe?" Y/N's eyes filled with tears. "Why don't you and Alex love me?"

Silence.

"Baby, what do you mean? We do love you."

Y/N sniffled. "No you don't. You two are happier without me." Perrie's heart broke. "Baby, what are you talking about?" Y/N shook her head. "Forget it. I'm flying back tomorrow and I'll get my stuff out of your house and be out of yours and Alex's hair." Mark pulled into Y/N's parent's driveway as the girl got out of the car. Mark watched as Y/N walked into the house. He sighed. "Perrie, I don't know what's going on, but please fix it. I know you and Alex didn't do anything wrong but please, fix this." Perrie agreed.

"We will."

Y/N landed in London and called her flat mate to pick her up from the airport. As she was driving back to their shared flat, Y/N texted Jade and Alex's teammate Jordan to ask them to get Perrie and Alex out of the house in order for her to get her things. They told her they had it under control. An hour after the texts were sent, Y/N left to go get her things from Perrie's house.

As she pulled up to the house, the lights were off and there were no cars in the driveway, much to Y/N's relief. She grabbed her keys and unlocked the door to be met with candlelight and a path of rose petals. Confused, she followed them as they led her to the backyard where Perrie and Alex were waiting for her. She stood frozen as the two noticed her presence. Alex smiled and walked over to her and wrapped her in his arms.

"We missed you." Y/N froze for a second and then wrapped her arms around Alex's neck. He was wearing her favorite cologne of his which made her smile. Perrie watched on with a smile and patiently waited her turn to hug Y/N. As Y/N pulled away from Alex, he pressed his lips to hers gently. She instantly kissed him back. He pulled away and Perrie replaced him, wrapping her arms around Y/N's neck and pressed her lips to Y/N's. Y/N smiled into the kiss and pouted when Perrie pulled away.

"What's all this for you guys?" Y/N asked. The trio sat on the couch as Perrie and Alex wrapped their arms around Y/N. "After that conversation the other night, we felt really bad and we wanted to show you how much you mean to us and how much we love you." Y/N sighed. "Guys, I'm sorry. It's just, I get comments from fans that say I don't deserve you two and how I'm holding you two back and my parents keep judging me about us and it just hurts."

Alex kissed Y/N's head. "Don't listen to them Y/N. The fans are trolls and they don't know what they are talking about. And neither do your parents." Perrie hummed in agreement. "Yeah. And if my fans are sending you nasty things, they aren't real fans. My true fans should want me to be happy and you two make me so happy."

Y/N had tears running down her face at their words. "I love you guys. I'm sorry for letting the comments get to me." Alex and Perrie pressed kisses to Y/N's head. "No, it's not your fault baby. We promise. Now, let's go inside and watch a movie yeah?" Y/N nodded and let Alex pick her up and lead her into Perrie's bedroom.

The trio got changed into comfortable clothes, Y/N wearing one of Alex's Liverpool hoodies, and got into the bed, Y/N in the middle. Perrie picked out Y/N's favorite Disney movie as Y/N snuggled up to the both of them. Alex played with Y/N's hair as Perrie drew shapes on Y/N's stomach under the hoodie. Soon after the movie started, Y/N fell asleep, surrounded by the two people who loved her more than anything.
