You were currently huddled over your toilet, emptying your stomach. You had caught a bad case of the flu and you were miserable. You flushed the toilet and stood on shaky legs to brush your teeth. Once done, you made your way back to your bed to finally lay down. You turned on Netflix and put on a random nature documentary before finally relaxing. Before you could fall asleep, your phone rang. Groaning, you reached over for it and saw that Jesy, one of your girlfriends was calling you. Sighing, you put the phone back, reminding yourself to call her back after taking a nap. You put your head on the pillow and instantly fell asleep.
When you woke up, it was a few hours later and you woke up to hushed voices around you.
"She looks awful. We probably need to take her to the doctor's office."
"Why didn't she tell us she was sick?"
You groaned and opened your eyes to find four worried pairs looking back at you.
"Hey girls, fancy seeing you here." Leigh-Anne rolled her eyes and put her hand on your forehead. "Y/N, you're burning up. Have you checked your temperature today?" You shook your head and Jesy went off looking for a thermometer. Jade sat by your side. "Baby, why didn't you tell us you were sick?" You sighed.
"I didn't want to bother you guys. You've been so busy with your show and your new album and interviews and I didn't want to take you guys away from that." Perrie sat on your other side. "Y/N, love, you are our number one priority. Nothing is more important than you." Leigh-Anne nodded in agreement. Jesy came back with the thermometer.
Jade stuck the thermometer under your tongue. It beeped and she removed it. "102.3. Christ, Y/N. That's high." You went to say something but then the urge to cough came over you. You coughed into your elbow as Perrie and Jade rubbed your back. Each cough sounded more painful than the last and it broke the girls hearts to see you in pain.
Your coughing fit ended and Jesy handed you the water bottle that was on your nightstand. You took a few gulps and sighed at the relief it brought you. Leigh-Anne rubbed your leg. "Okay, Jesy and I are going to the store to get you some things. Are you going to be okay here with Pez and Jade until we get back?" You nodded and both girls kissed your warm forehead before leaving. You snuggled into your pillows as Jade and Perrie got comfortable on your sides.
"You poor thing." Perrie sighed, running her fingers through your sweaty hair. You sighed at the feeling. "Feel good?" You nodded and Jade giggled. She ran her fingertips over your abdomen under your shirt. "You get some rest and we'll wake you up when the other two get back okay?" You nodded and feel asleep to the feeling of their fingers softly bringing you relief.
The other girls got back and you were woken up by their arrival. "Baby, we got you some medicine you need to take." You cringed at the thought of medicine. Jesy giggled. "I know you hate it baby, but it'll make you feel better." You sighed. She was right. You were desperate to feel better and if medicine made you feel better, you were gonna have to take it. Jade poured out the amount in a tiny cup and you threw it back like a shot. You frantically reached for the water and chugged. The girls giggled as you plopped back on the bed. They all laid around you.
You felt your eyes slipping closed. You hadn't been able to get sleep due to you coughing or vomiting. Jesy noticed you falling asleep. "Y/N, sleep. We'll be right here the whole time. Promise." You nodded and slipped into a dreamless sleep.
