You walked into your house and slid down the front door. Your day had been shit since it started. Your boss yelled at you all day, your co-workers didn't help you with anything, you hadn't eaten all day, and you were just exhausted. You sighed and made your way to the couch and laid down on it face first. You heard footsteps followed by a voice. "Babe? Is that you?" You didn't respond. You felt a soft hand on your back. "Bubs? What's wrong?" You turned your head to find big brown eyes looking back at you.
"Jade, my day sucked. I don't wanna talk about it." Jade's heart broke at how defeated you sounded. "I'm sorry love. But you're home now, with me. So everything is going to be okay." You sniffled and buried your face in the couch. Jade sighed. "How about you go and take a nice hot shower? That'll start to make you feel better." You nodded and sat up. Jade got to take in your appearance and her heart broke. You had dark circles under your eyes, your hair was a mess, you had tears in your eyes. "Oh, my poor baby." She cupped your face and that was it. You began to sob as she pulled you to her chest. "Shhh. It's going to be okay baby. I promise." She started singing "My Love Won't Let You Down" softly.

Your sobs settled down to sniffles as Jade massaged your scalp. "Better?" You nodded. "Sorry for crying all over you." She shook her head. "That's what I am here for love. Now let's get you into the shower yeah?" You nodded and allowed her to guide you into the bathroom.
After your shower, you got dressed and went into the bedroom to find Jade sitting on the bed waiting for you. She looked at you and opened her arms. You climbed on the bed in-between her legs and laid your head on her chest. "How was your shower? Good?" You nodded. She ran her fingers through your slightly damp hair. "How about some food? Maybe from your favorite takeout place around the corner? And then after that, how about a massage and a movie?" You sighed blissfully. "That sounds amazing babe." Jade kissed your head and leaned over to grab her phone.
A while after you two ate, you laid on your stomach on the bed as Jade straddled your thighs. She began to rub your back and you groaned at the feeling. Jade smiled and leaned down to kiss the back of your neck. "You are super tense love. Stress has been doing a number on you hasn't it?" You nodded and groaned loudly as she hit a particularly tense spot. Jade's hands felt like magic on your tense back.
She finished massaging your back and you felt relaxed for the first time all day. You sat up and laid back on your side of the bed as Jade pulled up Disney+. You tucked yourself into her side and laid on her shoulder. She put on Peter Pan and wrapped her arm around your shoulders. "Go to sleep love. I'll talk to your boss about letting you have some time off tomorrow okay?" You leaned up and kissed her soundly on the lips. "I don't know what I did to deserve you but I'm glad you're mine." Jade smiled and pecked your lips. "I'm glad you're mine too baby. Now, sleep."
You closed your eyes and let the sound of Peter Pan and the feeling of Jade's fingers in your hair lull you to dreamland.
