Jesy woke up to someone tossing and turning.
Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, she looked at the clock and saw that it was about 3:30 in the morning. She yawned and looked behind her to see Chris peacefully sleeping. Confused, she went to lay back down before she heard a whimper.
Looking over, she saw her girlfriend Y/N's face contort into an almost painful expression. She gently pulled the girl closer to her. She rubbed her back with one hand and stroked her hair with the other. "Shhh, it's okay Y/N. You're safe here with me and Chris. Nothing is going to hurt you."
Y/N's eyes shot open and her body was drenched with sweat. Jesy's heart broke at the sight of her girl so terrified. "Oh, love." Y/N's body shook with sobs as she scrambled onto Jesy's lap. The movement on the bed caused Chris to wake up.
"Hmm. What's going on?" Y/N whimpered into Jesy's neck and Chris shot up. "Y/N? Babe?" Y/N sniffled and moved even closer to Jesy. "She had a bad dream." Chris's heart broke at the thought of his girl in pain. "Oh, baby girl. Come here." Y/N moved into Chris's embrace, feeling Jesy behind her, whispering sweet things to her.
Y/N felt the tension from her night terror leave her body as her loves comforted her. Once she felt calm, she decided to speak.
"You two left me."
Chris and Jesy froze. "What did you say baby?" Y/N took a deep breath. "You two left me. We got in a fight and you two told me I wasn't good enough for you and you packed your things and left me." The pair looked at each other before sighing. Jesy spoke up. "Baby, we would never leave you. You complete us."
Chris nodded. "We love you Y/N. We don't want anyone else other than you. You are the best thing to have ever happened to us. We will never leave you. Ever. You're stuck with us forever." Y/N giggled and snuggled into Chris's neck. Jesy smiled at the two and sighed dreamily.
If you would have told her a few months ago that she would have not one, but two people that she deemed worthy enough to hold her heart, she would've looked at you like you were crazy. She will admit, relationships aren't her strong suit. She has had her heart broken many times. She never thought she would be able to find love like this again.
As she looked at Y/N and Chris, she thought to herself, I'm glad I didn't give up on love, or else I wouldn't have this.
Y/N looked over at Jesy and noticed she was daydreaming. "Jes? You okay?" Jesy shook out of it and nodded.
"I'm perfect."
