Hanji's POV

I sat at the edge of the wall looking at the distance. I could see a beautiful forest shine in the light. Oh how badly I wanted to go see the forest and learn more about Titans. But captain Levi wouldn't let me go anywhere by myself.

I started mumbling to myself when I heard someone call my name.

"Oi shitty glasses!" I turned to see Levi giving me a disgusting look.

"Hey, Levi" I said gazing back at the forest.

"Why the hell are you on the edge of the wall staring at the forest" he said annoyed.

"Because it's nice to look at something beautiful for once and awhile" I said a bit annoyed.

"Tch whatever, I came to tell you there is a party for the scouts tonight, you can come if you want" he said walking away.

I didn't say anything back because I wanted to keep enjoying my moment without thinking of anyone else.

I kept gazing at the forest then at the sky. I laughed at myself for being so dumb that I have mixed feelings for that shorty.

I walked back to my room I looked at the time and the party was going to start soon. I decided to go because what's the harm in not going. It's free achohol for Peet's sake.

I decided to go, I saw moblit and Erwin drinking with Nanaba and Mike. I decided to hangout with them because Nanaba was one of my best friends. I got there and they greeted me with a glass of beer I gladly accepted it.

We sat at a table talking and enjoying our time there. I saw Levi with his squad but I didn't want to bother them because his squad isn't very fond of me.

I kept talking with Nanaba about the expeditions when I decided to go grab moor beer for me and my friends. When I got to the bar I was waiting for my drinks when shorty walked up to me.

"Oi.... hanji.....fuck.....you" he sounded drunk because he was holding a beer in his hand and he was blushing.

I looked at him confused "what?" I asked confused.

"I said fuck.....you....." Levi said angry.

At this point I knew he was drunk so I just ignored him.

I grabbed my drinks and started to leave when he grabbed me by the sleeve and yanked me back.

The drinks I had in my hand flew onto my shirt I fell on my ass soaked in beer.

"What the hell Levi!?" I asked furiously.

Now everyone was looking at us.

"Don't turn your back on me you bitch!" He yelled at me.

Bitch? He called me a bitch. I was growing mad but I couldn't do anything because I would have regretted it.

I stood up and glared at Levi, he glared at me back.

"Fuck you too Levi" I said furious.

Levi grew even more furious. He grabbed me by the collar and shoved me against the bar. I held him back the best I could, but he was stronger than me.

"You annoy me, you know that all you do is talk about your Titan shit and how you want to capture a Titan. You know what I think....I think your crazy and a complete lunatic.....why did you even join the scouts if your just so fucking useless" he said furious.

I didn't know what to say, I was in complete shock and hurt at the same time.

"L-levi..." I said quietly.

He released me I got up and stared at him, he glared at me back.

"Why don't you go kill yourself" he said coldly.

"LEVI THATS ENOUGH!" I turned to see Erwin about to loose his shit".

Levi ignored him and kept glaring at me. I was still in utter shock.

"D-did you really mean that" I said quietly.

"Yes" I heard him reply.

My eyes widened, I took a deep breath and gave a weak smile.

"I understand....thank you Levi for helping me realize the truth..." I said walking away.

I heard many snickers from people around me. I finally reached my room where I closed my door and fell to my knees.

I put my hand over my mouth and began to cry quietly...I guess I learned the truth....he doesn't love me and I guess he never liked me as a friend either.

I crawled into bed for the past hour I heard my friends knocking on my door to try to talk to me I just told them to go away or just ignored them.

It was 2 in the morning when I woke up from sleeping....I couldn't stay here I couldn't bear to see Levi again....and maybe he was right I guess I wasn't that important to the scouts anyway.

I got up and wrote some notes for my friends and for Levi....

I packed some clothes because I was leaving the scouts....I was leaving everything I loved and everyone I cared about.

I got my bag and delivered my notes to my friends I reached Levis door where I just stared at it, I let out a tear and slid the note underneath the door.

I left the building the best place to hide was the.... underground.

I headed into the underground where I would be hiding. I was used to this place because I once lived here before...with my family.... before they died and I became a scout.

I reached my old house where it was broken down but It was a good place to hide in.

I went to my room and sat down my bag as I went down memory lane... I had to change my looks so put on my new clothes, a cloak and I cut some of my hair off so it was a little shorter but not too short. I walked outside my house and looked at my environment.

I had one goal....and that was to become stronger than I have ever been strong before.

Today was the new day of my adventure.
