TWENTY- FIVE

Hanjis POV

Its been a few days and my stress level has been through the roof....even at the point I refuse to see anyone because I may let off steam on them.

I just finished another stack of paperwork and I lay back in my chair staring at the ceiling. I haven't been able to see Levi because of work and I when I do have time I sleep or rest.

Which reminds me I need to go pick up something from the market in town....guess sleeping is going to be on hold.

I get up and start heading to the door when my stomach started to hurt like a Titan eating half my body off.....

I quickly go to the bathroom and vomit....what the hell? I stayed in the bathroom resting until I finally got up and left.....

I probably ate something bad last night considering what we eat half the time. So I ignored it and continued to go pick up my stuff from the market.

I arrived at the market to pick up the new recruits uniforms and some more supplies for the scouts. There is always one thing I hate about the market.....

"Hey look it's the scouts commander or in other words the commander that leads people to their deaths!" Someone started laughing.

I hate people who say this stuff to us considering Everything.....that we go through.

Unfortunately all I can do is ignore them....if I start something it will look bad on the scouts in general.....

I kept walking carrying my stuff when someone tripped me.

"Oops watch where your going next time Titan food!" The man yelled walking away.

When he tripped me I dropped all the stuff and it scatered....I sighed and got up to pick up all the stuff.

As I was picking up stuff a woman and her child approached me.

"Do you need help commander?"

I shook my head "no I'm fine..."

Her child ignored the fact I was fine and started helping me anyway.

"Those stupid people...." The boy muttered.

The woman soon joined and started helping me "I guess we aren't taking no for an answer".

They both helped me with my stuff and I placed it on my horse.

"Thank you, much appreciated"

The woman nods and her son started smiling "keep fighting commander!" He cheered.

I couldn't help but smile "I will....I promise"

I looked at my scouts cape and sighed, I took it off and handed it to the boy.

"Take care of this for me ok"

The boys face beamed with excitement "thank you!"

I nodded "goodbye and thank you!"

I yipped(idk how they call it) my horse and took off....that kid made my day....

When I arrived back at HQ I handed Mikasa the uniforms to give to the other scouts while I went to Zachery's office to get my new paperwork.

Few hours later...

I was done for the day and decided to sleep because my stomach was absolutely killing me..... during my nap I heard someone knocking on my door.

"What...." I groaned.

"Its me four eyes"

"Ok come in".

Levi walks in with his paperwork and sighs.

"Sleeping again?"

"Yes Levi I'm exhausted and my stomach is killing me"

He looked at me concerned "how were you feeling today?"

I sit up and shrug "tired mostly but this morning I threw up so that's new".

He looked at me curiously "from what?"

I shrug again "I honestly don't have a clue"

He sits next to me and holds my hand "well get better soon because I hate when you're sick"

I smiled "thanks I guess?"

He grins "I'll take care of you until your better ok"

I smile "thanks Levi"

My stomach started hurting again and I felt nauseous "um I'll be back" I get up and go to the bathroom to puke again... I hope I'll be better tomorrow.

Levi's POV

When she left I grew more worried....what could have made her sick? The food?....I don't know....she hasn't done much experiments so it couldn't been that....

I waited till she got back....when she did she looked awful. She has to go to the doctor I don't even care what she says.

"Oi hanji were going to the doctors"

"Eh? Right now?"

"yes so let's go"

She follows me and holds onto my arm because she was tired. She could have overworked herself again....

"Hanji are you overworking yourself again"

She stays quiet "what did I-"

"I know levi....I'm sorry but it's just something I do....it's hard to stop ok"

I sighed and kissed her cheek "I know being the new commander is hard but overworking yourself is worse.....this is probably why your sick"

She nods "ok..."

We arrived at the stables and she rode with me on my horse to the doctors. When we got there me and hanji went into a room to be checked out.

Hanji told the doctor her symptoms and he seemed surprised.

"Commander have you ever considered maybe being pregnant?"

Hanjis eyes widened "n-no why?"

The doctor sighed "we can check but it sounds like symptoms of pregnancy but I could be wrong"

Hanji nods "if you even considered that we need to check...."

The doctor nods and hanji goes to the bathroom to get a sample for the doctor.

The doctor took the sample and left to test it while me and hanji sat in the quiet room.....

"Hanji are you alright?"

She shakes her head "Levi....what if I am pregnant....what am I going to do?.....how am I going to raise a child and be commander...."

I got up and sat next to her holding her hand tightly "we will figure it out when we get to that point but for now let's just hope your not...."

After what seemed like forever the doctor came back....

"And!?" Hanji asked quickly.

The doctor sighed and my heart sank....I already knew what those next words were going to be.....

"Mrs Zoe....it came back positive....."
