Hanjis POV

I finished treating the girls wounds and watched her sleep. Poor child had to have been living like this for awhile. I left her to make some food for us. After awhile I heard movement in my room so I went in there to check on her.

She was wide eyed looking around her surroundings. I walked in trying not to startle her.

"Hey" I said quietly.

She looked at me startled she reached for her pocket to grab her knife but was surprised to see it missing since I took it and placed it in the kitchen.

"Where's....my....stuff" she said quietly.

"Its in the kitchen but you need to rest, your still wounded pretty badly and if you move to much you'll re open your wound so stay in bed" I said.

"You helped me?" She asked.

"Eh?, ofcoarse I did I couldn't just let you die there now could I" I said smiling.

"Thank you..." She said looking down.

"Don't thank me I owed you for saving me" I smiled.

She nodded and calmed herself down.

"Dinner will be ready in a sec I'll bring back your stuff if you promise to stay in bed, deal?" I said crossing my arms.

"Deal" she replied.

I nodded and went into the kitchen, I finished the dinner and grabbed her a serving then took her serving and stuff to her.

"Ok I made you some soup, and here's your stuff" I said handing her, her soup and stuff.

"Thank you" she said pulling down her mask and started drinking her soup.

I watched her drink it down fast like she hasn't eaten in days.

"Do you not eat very often?" I asked.

She shook her head as she finished her soup.

"Do you want more?" I asked.

She nodded.

I smiled as I grabbed her bowl went back to the kitchen and filled it more with soup.

"Here you go" I said giving her the soup.

I smiled as she continued to drink the soup.

I saw she already put her stuff back on her, her knife in her knife holder.

She finished drinking and set the bowl on the table and lifted her mask back up.

"Do you have any parents kiddo?" I asked leaning against the door way.

She shook her head, "they died a long time ago, I have been living on my own" she said looking down.

"You poor child it must have been hard" I said.

"Not really, I have learned to take care of myself here but often I do miss my mother....you kinda remind me of her" she said looking away.

I smiled "well you can stay as long as you want here, I won't stop you from leaving if you want to" I said.

She looked up at me wide-eyed "y-you Mean it?" She stuttered.

"Yes because no child Should keep living by themself in this cruel world"I said comforting her.

I walked up to her and reached out my hand "I'm hanji Zoe, what's your name?" I asked.

"Lilly.... Just Lilly" she said grabbing my hand.

"Well Lilly I'll be looking after you until you feel better ok." I said rubbing her head.

She looked at me wide-eyed and nodded.

She took of her cloak to reveal her dark brown hair. She looked up at me with teary eyes.

"Thank you Hanji...." She said with a smile because she took off her mask.

I gave her a hug "I'm always here to help." I said.

I was glad I could finally have a friend with me since I had no one left....now we can take care of eachother.

Levis POV

Its been a few days since hanji has disappeared....and I have been a complete mess. I keep reading her note never throwing it away. I kept repeating the "I love you" in my head and each time I heard it I felt even more depressed.

For once I didn't take a bath for days and I didn't do anything besides grieve over hanji. I felt so miserable that the only person I cared about is gone and I felt guilty for saying all that shit to her..... I had to do something. I had to find her. I didn't care how long it takes I had to find her bad bring her back.

I walked to Erwins office and barged in.

"Yes captain Levi, can I help you?" Erwin asked.

"I need, jaeger, Arlert, and Ackerman." I said sternly.

"Why?" He asked.

"We are gonna locate hanji, I don't care how long it takes." I said.

His eyes widened and he nodded. I left without saying anything else.

I bathed and got the trio and brought them to my room.

"What's wrong captain Levi?" Eren asked.

"As y'all know hanji has been gone for. Awhile" I said.

"Yeah what about it?" Mikasa asked.

"We are going to find her because y'all are one of the three people she can trust and I trust yall too" I said.

They nodded.

"We start tomorrow I want arlert to search the trost district, Ackerman you will start in the utopia district, and Jaeger you will start In the karanes district" I Ordered.

"What about you captain?" Arlert asked.

"I will start in the krolva district" I said.

They nodded, "ok y'all are dismissed get some rest we start at the crack of dawn understood?" I said.

"Yes sir!" They said saluting. They left and I got dressed for bed.

I'm going to find you Hanji....I promise.

Levi drifted into sleep he needed her back.
