Levi Is So Harsh {leviHan}

Hanjis POV

We were waiting for erwin to give us the signal to advance my new squad was next to Levis. I was next to Levi on my horse we where both worried about eachother but didn't show it.

Erwin yelled the countdown I looked at Levi "be careful out there Levi" I said.

He stayed looking forward "you too hanji don't do anything stupid" he said, I smiled it was his way of caring

"3!" I looked forward.

"2!" I tightened my grip on the reins of my horse.

"1!, Advance soldiers!" Erwin yelled as we began to advance.

I kept my eyes forward as me we reached outside the walls I signaled my squad to follow me and we broke apart away from Levis squad going into positions.

I took a glance at my squad seeing All of them looking serious, I smiled and looked back forward. Today was gonna be a good day....

It wasn't long when someone shot there flair it was a normal Titan... I we moved positions avoiding the Titan.

The first hour was going smoothly when a suddenly Titans started showing up faster another flare was shot near my group I guided them to stay calm when I saw a titan in front of us. "Ready your gears squad 4- meter titan ahead!" I yelled shooting a flair in the sky.

They did as I instructed as we got closer I shot my ODM gear I to the titan swinging under it in the air above it's nape "awww you were cute too sorry buddy" I said slicing it's nape as it fell to the ground.

I returned on my horse as we kept riding. We kept going until we decided to stop for camp at an abandon castle.

My squad was resting together talking among eachother, I sat next to them. "Good work so far" I said.

They smiled and thanked me "squad leader do you think we will see an abnormal?" Riley asked.

I shrugged "I dont know they seem rare but they come out randomly, I would love to see one soon so I can study it" I explained.

They nodded "have you seen one before?" Emma asked.

I looked at them and nodded "yeah I've seen alot of them....they took alot of my friends away from me...there very interesting to study about but they are the most dangerous, if you see one don't interact with it unless you have to" I said sternly.

They nodded "yes ma'am" they said.

I stood up and walked away I went into deep thought of remembering the abnormal Titans that took so many comrades away from me....but that's the job of a scout you must move on and keep fighting no matter how broken you are.

I sat on a hill looking out in the plains seeing if I could spot any Titans I heard someone wall up to me and sit next to me.

I turned it was Lilly "hanji San are you ok?" She asked worriedly.

I nodded "yeah I'm fine kid, just going through some old thoughts of the past..." I said.

She nodded "hanji are you worried about me?" She asked.

I looked at her "kinda" I admitted.

She smiled "don't be, I chose to come on the expeditions....I even convinced Levi and erwin..." She confessed.

I looked at her confused "but why Lilly the expeditions are dangerous...." I said.

"I know but I live to fight for people I love....I always have been....I want to be stronger to protect you....I wasn't strong enough to protect my little brother or mom from my dad...." She confessed.

I looked at her worriedly "Lilly...." I said putting my hand on her shoulder.

"Hanji your the only person I have left....my mom and brother died in the hands of my father then he died in my hands....I killed him after he going eh two most important people from me..
that's why I became an assassin in the underground" she confessed.

I hugged her "Lilly I promise I'll be ok but you don't have to protect me because that's my job....it's my job to make sure your ok" I said looking at her.

She nodded "ok..." I ruffled her hair. She started slapping my hands away.

"Hey! I just did my hair" she said giggling.

I giggled too smiling at her I showed her my fist "promise to look after eachother ok" I said.

She smiled and fist bumped me "promise" she said.

I nodded "now return with your squad and get to know them" I said signaling her away. She nodded and left.

I stared at the plains again and smiled I promise to make sure they return back....

I relaxed..... Then Mike yelled at us that a titan was in sight. I jumped to my feet and went to Mike to see the Titan. It seemed normal I saw Levis squad take off the Titan.

I watched them leave and looked around for other Titans....there was none in sight, I watched the Titan Fall to the ground dead and went back to my squad.

I saw them laughing and talking to eachother it seemed they were getting along with eachother which was great. I heard Kyle bragging to them about how he could kill every Titan. As he was babbling about how good he was I snook up behind him listening I saw the other cadets looked at me and started giggling.

"I could kill 5 Titans with my eyes closed" he said then I cut him off.

"Is that so?" I said.

He jumped "s-squad leader Zoe-" I cut him off again.

Just call me hanji I sat next to them. "So Kyle you think you could kill 5 Titans with your eyes closed huh" I said grinning.

He started sweating "um uh I.....don't.... know" he admitted.

I laughed and slapped his back "ah I'm just playing with you kid" I joked.

He smiled and the others started laughing. "Since your not really out permanent squad leader do you know who will be?" Emma asked.

I shrugged "it's up to Erwin hes the ones who assign the squads unless your Levi and you choose who want" I said.

They stiffened when I mentioned Levis name "y'all really are scared of shorty huh" I said.

Their eyes widened besides Lilly who was snickering "y-you have the courage to call captain Levi shorty.." Kyle asked scaredly.

I laughed "I don't mind he calls me shitty glasses so it's only fair".

They looked at me like I was crazy "y'all will understand one day that shorty isn't that intimidating" I explained.

They smiled and we just kept talking amongst ourselves mostly about how intimidating Levi was, I just laughed it off with Lilly because we both know Levis soft side.

I enjoyed talking to them because in the morning it wasn't gonna be the same.....
