TWENTY-FOUR

Levis POV

I woke up and felt the sunlight beam on my skin....I felt someone move around next to me.

It was hanji sleeping away peacefully I wrap my arms around her and pull her close I guess we fell asleep after having sex....

She moved around next to me then woke up as well "morning sleepy head" I said kissing the top of her head.

She smiled "morning shorty"

I kissed her passionately "thank you for last night Levi..." She said holding my face.

I nodded "your welcome four eyes"

She yawned then laid her head down back on the bed.

"You need to get up four eyes you have a meeting after breakfast"

She groaned "5 more minutes"

I sighed "I'll go get us some breakfast, after We eat I'm getting your ass up"

She groaned again, I put on some fresh clothes hanji always has extra for me for these situations.....

After I change I go to the mess hall to get us some breakfast, I spot Lilly and Riley getting breakfast.

I walk up to them "oi brats!"

They both flinch and look at me then gave a sloppy salute.

"H-hey levi" Lilly said nervously.

I lifted an eyebrow....she was being weird.... "after breakfast I need you two to go clean the stables ok"

They both nod "yes sir" Riley said nervously as well....they both were acting weird....

I rolled my eyes "what's wrong with you two"

They both start laughing "you know I just forgot something! We need to go help mikasa with something SEE YA LEVI!" Lilly said grabbing Riley's hand and leaving. I just stared at them....what's their problem?

I got me and hanji breakfast and as I was walking I passed a room that said Lilly's name on it.....WAIT LILLY IS NEXT DOOR TO HANJI?.... did she?.....shit....

I finished getting me and Hanjis breakfast and I returned to her room to see her still fucking sleeping....

"OI!"

She jolts up "I'm up!"

I tched and sat her food next to her And pecked her cheek.

"Thank you Levi"

I nod "your welcome four eyes"

I began eating my breakfast and she began eating hers....

"Um hanji I got some news"

"Ok what's up?"

"So we um....someone may have heard us last night"

She stopped eating then looked at me "um what?"

"I think Lilly heard us because she is your neighbor and her and her friend where being weird near me...."

Hanji laughed "you consider everyone weird Levi"

I tch "weirder than usual"

Hanji nods "ok I'll talk to her later if she did......then I need to apologise"

I nod "now get up shitty glasses we have a meeting"

She sighs "ok, ok I know"

She gets up and walks to her dresser and gets out her formal clothing, and changes.

I'm still a decent man so I looked away while she was changing. She finished and grabbed my hand pulling me up.

"Let's go!" She said smiling.

I tched as she pulled me to the meeting room we both sat down to discuss the meeting.

Moments later....

Me and hanji exit the meeting room and are walking in the hall....

She lets out a deep sigh "this is just great....more questions that need to be answered"

I held her hand "don't worry hanji....you're not alone in this....you still have me, Lilly and my squad don't forget that"

She looks at me then looks down...."thanks levi..."

I knew she meant it she was just tired.... I was going to look after her...I promised that.

We walk back to her room and Lilly was just leaving hers then spots us and just stares.....she quickly looks away and starts leaving.

"Wait right there Lilly" hanji said sternly.

Lilly slowly turned to us giving a sheepish smile..."heh heh hi hanji"

Hanji sighs "be honest did you hear me and levi last night?"

She shivered from the question "no-"

"Lilly...."

"Ok, ok ok me and Riley heard you because we both went to my office to grab some paperwork and um....heard you...um NEVERMIND we just heard y'all leave it at that" Lilly confessed.

Hanji sighs "sorry..."

"Eh?, it's ok hanji it just caught us off guard don't worry about it"

Hanji nods "well I gotta go hanji but I won't tell anyone and neither will Riley"

Hanji nods again and Lilly leaves. Me and hanji go in her room and she plops onto the bed And sighs.

"God I'm tired....and who knows what's gonna happen in the future levi...."

I sighed at this point all I could do was listen to her....

"Levi I don't know why but I'm starting to get those thoughts again....I know you keep telling me to ignore them but it's not necessarily easy...especially now....everything is falling apart because of me....god what do I do!....it's frustrating levi....and I know you'd probably thinking to move on and get over it...but it still hurts....it hurts more than anything...."

I sat next to her on the bed and held her hand. "Hanji I know it's hard.... and it's going to take time and it may never go away but you can only do so much....erwin would most likely be in the same situation....we both agreed on this hanji...you could never replace Erwin....but that doesn't mean you can give up...he chose you for a reason remember that four eyes. I know it hurts....the pain may only get worse but this is what we signed up for...we can't turn back now....not with so much we learned so far....hanji we will get through this together no matter what...."

She smiled slightly and hugs my waist "ok..."

I rub her head "hanji get some sleep...."

"Only if you stay with me...."

I sighed "ok, only for a little bit because I have paperwork to do"

I lay down next to her and pull her closely to me "now sleep....you need it"

She nods and closes her eyes....it wasn't soon after she passed out completely....I watched her sleep peacefully. I sighed and closed my eyes as well to attempt to sleep....
