Hanjis POV

Its been two years since I've left and I wasn't surprised no one came and went looking for me. me and Lilly have bonded and I have been looking over her like shes my own and since then I haven't left her side. We were planning a mission to steal some ODM gear from the scouts.

It was sad to think I was stealing from people I worked with...but we needed the gear for future jobs. I still had my old ODM gear still in my old room. Hopefully no one cleaned it out and it's still there.

The plan was I would sneak in too my old room and grab my old ODM gear then head to the equipment room and grab some gear for Lilly.

The mission would take place tommorow after two years of training me and Lilly were ready for anything.

I talked to Lilly about the plan and she agreed if I got captured she had to leave me behind.

Tommorow would go ok I hope.

The next day....

Me and Lilly put on our cloaks and left the underground. No one tried to stop us because we earned the title of "you mess with us your dead". When we reached the top I froze looking at the surface I haven't seen this place in years and Lilly hasn't ever seen it before. I smiled to see her smiling with her eyes gleaning with excitement.

"You ready?" I asked her.

She nodded and we left we didn't cause much attention to us as we headed to the scouts base. I knew my way around so when we got there I told her to stand guard and if anything happened we would signal eachother.

It was nighttime so only a few scouts were on duty. I launched a grappler to the roof and climbed the wall till I reached my room window.

I silently opened it and crawled in....I was surprised everything was still were it was untouched. I smiled and and found my ODM gear I put it on and should still have gas in it. I climbed back out my window and met up with Lilly. She smiled when she saw me. I rustled her hair.

"Ok put your mask on we are going to the harder part of the mission." I said.

She nodded as we headed to the equipment room. Gas and ODM gear was stored there and a few scouts guarding it.

As much as I hated it....I had to take out some scouts.... Im not killing them but I will knock them out. We quietly opened the door and saw some scouts talking to eachother.

I signaled Lilly to go on the other side and she did at one moment we rushed  the men and knocked them out.

I felt guilty knocking them out but I had to finish caring out the mission I put the ODM gear on Lilly.

I taught her the basics for ODM gear during the two years and she got the hang of it now it was her chance to show what she learned. we both left when I heard other ODM gear near us. It only meant one thing.....

"LILLY, DISPAND, USE YOUR TRAINING ILL FIND YOU" I yelled at her. But it was to confuse them, she left on foot hiding in houses while I used my ODM gear to distract them.

We were flying through the town I saw two of them next to me they had there cloaks on so I didn't see them.

I cut back Into another alley I only counted three of them. I kept swinging away from them I found our hiding spot and decided to change it. I shot my gun to a house to signal Lilly to hide there.

All of a sudden I saw a scout above me crash onto me I didn't react fast enough and they slammed against me and I fell to the ground.

"Shit" I mumbled. I looked up to see a scout looking at me.

He took off his hood and stared at me.

"Hanji? ......" He said.

It was Armin.....

My mouth dropped open "Armin?" I said quietly.

"Is it really y-" he was cut off as I saw Lilly swing by and flew Into his side slamming him into a wall.

"Hanji let's go!" She yelled.

We were leaving when the two other scouts flew in front of us and stopped us.

They took of there hoods, it was Eren and Mikasa.

"H-hanji? Is it really you?" Eren asked.

Lilly looked at me and I stared at them, I sighed.

"Yeah it's me...." I said.

Mikasa rushed and hugged me, I was shocked.

"We..... finally......found......you" she said teary.

"What do you mean' I said rubbing her head.

"We haven't stopped looking for you since you disappeared" Eren said looking down.

"Yeah we never gave up" Armin said as he was limping twords us.

I was surprised and I felt bad.....

"Why....." I asked.

"Because we need you Hanji....the scouts need you...." Eren said.

I looked down and Mikasa let go of our hug "I'm sorry but im not going back"  I said looking at Lilly.

"What!?" The three of them said.

"Im sorry but I made a promise and I can't break it" I said.

They looked at me confused and sad.

"But captain Levi-" Armin started saying.

"I don't care what captain Levi has to say about me, y'all should stop looking for me now I'm better off where I am now" I said sternly.

They looked sad and shocked at the same time.

"Please guys Ill give you the last of my information, if you promise to not tell anyone about me and her" I pointed to Lilly.

They looked at her then back to me and they nodded.

"Ok then, meet me at this spot tommorow and I'll give you my Information" I said.

They just nodded and left.

"Come on Lilly let's go" I said walking back to the underground.

She didn't say anything but just followed me.

I couldn't go back.....I just couldn't.....
