THIRTEEN

Hanjis POV

We resumed our expedition exploring the lands I studied as much titans as I could from a distance. I was writing in my journal when I heard a flair shoot up in the air. It was in front of us.....it was black which meant only one thing.....an abnormal.

I told my squad to be ready for anything because it was an abnormal. I reached over the hill to see another sqaud fighting the abnormal as some where already eaten I shot my flair.

"Y'all ready it's an abnormal and lien I said we don't leave people behind" I said that because there where still survivers battling it.

My squad rushed down the hill to the Titan I saw on of the squad members smiling as he saw us.

I was about to launch when another Titan on all fours launched it self in the air and ate the squad member. Now there where two..... I heard a nother signal behind me it was a black one shot by lilly.

My eyes widened as I saw how dangerous our situation became.....I had no choice "TURN BACK AROUND NOW!" I yelled at them.

"What!" I heard Emma yell.

"Follow orders now cadet Emma!" I yelled again.

They turned around but I kept pushing forward "there was still a fighter left I wasn't leaving him but I didn't want to risk my squad. "Hanji!" I heard Riley yell but I ignored it.

The titans got my attention I shot a shell in a titans eyes blowing it up making it blind.

I saw the fighter still swinging around. "Land on my horse!" I yelled at him.

He nodded and flew to my horse avoiding the Titan. I turned away from them heading back to my squad.

I heard on of the Titans chasing me down it was on our tail. Shit shit shit I kept coming closer before It latched onto us I heard a slice and it dropped dead. I turned to see Lilly flying in the air landing on her horse.

She caught up to me "Lilly! I said follow orders!" I yelled angrily.

She glared at me "no!, If it involves you dying then I refuse" she spit back at me.

"Where's the rest" I asked.

She pointed next to me I turned to see my squad running twords me. We grouped back up. But we still had one Titan left I turned to see it was still blinded giving us some more time.

We kept pushing back to the rest of the group but they where already too far ahead.....no one heard our signals....not even Levi....

I cussed "Riley give this soldier our extra horse" I said. She nodded as she pulled forward letting the soldier on my horse get on the extra.

He thanked me for saving him I nodded. As we kept pushing forward.

It was getting dark so we stopped at another abandon building everyone was on edge Because they saw their first abnormal and we didn't regroup yet with the others.

I sat with them and tried to calm them down "Erwin will notice we are gone and someone will come find us...." I said Trying to calm them down.

They nodded and stared at the plains.... "What about the Titans...." Kyle asked.

"They don't move at night....not even the abnormal ones" I said...

They relaxed and went to sleep me and the soldier form the other squad stayed up keeping a lookout for anyone who I hoped was looking for us....

Please Levi....please find us.....

Levis POV

When we regrouped I was getting worried because hanji's group wasn't here yet....we noticed two squads missing a squad I didn't know and Hanjis.....

I started pacing....Petra walked up to me trying to calm me down....it didn't work I walked up to erwin "Erwin Hanjis squad hasn't returned yet" I stated.

He nodded "I know Levi...." He sighed.

"Well? Aren't you going to send someone out to find her?!" I asked furiously.

He looked down "Levi we can't risk the mission....hanji knows this" he stated.

I was furious "bullshit!, If you went missing she would go find you!" I yelled.

Everyone was looking at us....Erwin looked at me sternly "Levi-" I cut him off.

"If your gonna say some bullshit about not finding her I'm gonna kick your ass..." I said coldly.

Erwin stayed quiet.... I just glared at him...."I'm going to look for her....my squad doesn't have to come I'll go on my own if I have to" I said getting on my horse.

"I'll go too!" I turned too see Petra raising her hand walking to her horse.

Then eld and Gunter walked to their horses then oluo nodded and Walked to his horse they all got on and waited for my command.

I glanced at Erwin who sighed "wait..." He said.

"We'll stop the mission and all look for her tommorow" he said.

My eyes widened...."she is one of humanitys important soldier we can't loose her" he admitted.

"I'm leaving tonight" I stated.

"No...you all need rest if hanji is alive she is smart enough to stay above ground and wait out the night".

I finally nodded and got off my horse....while everyone went to asleep I stared off into the distance....

"Hanji...." I said quietly...

"Please be ok...." I sighed.

I stayed up until I finally drifted off to sleep....the next morning everyone was ready to leave and go look for hanji...I was in the front with Erwin eagerly ready to advance and look for her.

"Soldiers advance!" Erwin yelled I took off....I had a desperate feeling Hanji was ok....I wouldn't stop looking for her.

Hanji was the only person I needed in my life I need her to be alive at all costs.... because....

I love her....
