-Fortunes POV-
Typical Mika. Making me look like a fool in front of a girl. But he's gay. How on earth did he convince this candid, beautiful girl that he was straight?
"What's wrong Fort?" Mama asked me as I slumped into a stool at the counter.
"Mika," I sighed.
"Honey, be nice to him. And stay away from the girl!" Mama said.
I rolled my eyes just as everyone made their way into the kitchen. She's soooo gorgeous. She smiles at me as she sits across from me.
I smile back, "so, has Mika told you about Andy?"
Everyone gasps. Great.
"Fortune! Why would you even ask that?" Mika asked angrily.
I shrugged and got up. Before anyone else could scold me I rush off. I sit outback and just burry my head into my hands. Stupid. Just stupid.
-Mika's POV-
Great! Now I have to explain to Allie about my previous lover. Now she's going to run.
I sigh before I try to begin to explain to Allie about Andy.
"Allie, Andy's my ex."
"Is andy a guy or a girl?" She questions.
"A guy," I sighed.
"You're bisexual?" Allie asks.
I nod. She doesn't say anything. Thanks Fortune.
"Allie, I-" I started, but my phone rang.
"Hello?" I answered. "I forgot...yes...I'll be right there."
"Where are you going?" Mama asks me.
Allie gives me a questioning look.
"I'm sorry. I have an interview," I sigh.
"I can't cancel this one. I'll be back in a couple of hours."Allie nods, but that's it. Hopefully she'll be here when I get back.
-Allie's POV-
He's gay. I knew it! And just when he drops the ball he takes off. He leaves me here with his family whom I know nothing about.
"Honey, why are you with my son?" Mama asks rudely. I don't say anything. "Is it money? If it is money I'll give you some to leave him alone."
I can't believe her. She probably paid that Andy guy off to leave Mika. I shook my head 'no.' She sighs and grabs her things.
"Girls we should get going," she says as she makes her way out the door.
As the door closes behind the four of them I sigh. What have I got myself into? I knew this was too good to be true. Hopefully Mika and I can talk about this when he gets home.
I decide to go outback, completely forgetting that Fortune was back there.
"Hey," he says to me as I sit next to him on the rocker.
"Hey, I'm sorry if Mika made you mad or upset you," I say to him.
"It's okay. Not your fault," he says.
He looks sad. The wind blows his neatly tamed hair to the side. A curl falls in front of his face. He leaves it there.
I smile. He looks just like Mika. Just younger. His glasses made him different. The dark-rimmed glasses fit his face perfectly.
Why is he so sad?
"Are you okay?" I ask him.
He sighs and nods his head.
"Do you want to talk?" I ask.
He turns his head towards me and smiles.
"That's better," I said. "You look so much better when you smile."
