--Mika's POV--

It's the day before our wedding. Andy hasn't contacted me at all. I debated whether to call off the wedding, but I feel like Andy would have said to if that's what he wanted.

"Mika," I hear Fortune ask as he walks into the living room.

"Hey," I reply. "Where's Allie and Eli?"

He sits next to me, "napping. Eli hasn't been sleeping at night."

I nod and look away.

"You nervous for tomorrow?" Fortune asks.

I laugh. "Nervous is an understatement. I'm terrified. Terrified that he won't show up. Why hasn't he said anything?!"

Silence takes over as Fortune looks like he's deep in thought.

"I've talked to him," he finally says nervously.

"What?!" I shout.

"He just needed time to think Mika."

"About what?! I've been going insane! Why haven't you said something?" I ask furiously.

"He asked me not to."

I glare at him and then roll my eyes.

"Mika, it'll be okay. You two are taking a big step. You're getting married and then going to hopefully have kids," Fortune tells me.

"I'm scared too, but I didn't run," I reply as I try to fight back some tears.

Fortune pulls me into a hug. And then I break down.

"I miss him," I cry into his chest.

"He misses you Mika," Fortune says as he rubs my back.

Fortune's phone then goes off. He breaks the hug to answer it. I try to get myself together.

"Yes love," he says as he answers. "Allie...I'm sorry...I thought...I'll be right there. Love you."

Fortune then hangs up and gives me a weak smile.

"Everything okay?" I ask.

"Yea," he replied and stands up. "Eli woke up and Allie's mad that I'm not there."

"I'm sorry. I love you," I tell him as I stand to hug him again.

"I love you Mika. I should've told you. I'm sorry, but cheer up. Okay?"

I nod and then he leaves me...alone...
