I Never Meant

--Mika's POV--

"What's your issue?" I ask Nick as I enter his room. "Oh, and by the way, you're grounded. This door stays open."

"Whatever," Nick mumbles from his bed. He turns his back to me.

I reach over and turn him to face me. "What was that about? Were you trying to rape him?"

"What?! No!" Nick shouts.

"Then what?!" I shout back.

"I'm just...I don't know," Nick cries.

I sigh and lay next to him.

"Just with everything going on with you and dad I just want something. Something that no one can take or break. I thought of I could get Kyle to like me then I'd have him," he cries.

"Nick, you scared the shit out of him. He was in tears when Sarah room him away. And now any chance I had with her is gone."

"So we're both screwed," Nick chuckles.

"Yup," I reply. We both laugh.

"I'm sorry Mika," Nick says. "I mean dad."

"It's alright Nicolas, but call Kyle and apologize. Okay?"

Nick nods as I leave his room.

--Nick's POV--

"Hello?" Kyle answers.

"Kyle it's Nick," I tell him.

"I known," he replies. I roll my eyes.

"I'm sorry for earlier. I didn't mean to do what I did," I tell him honestly.

"You've definitely have some issues Nick. I'd love to be friends with you, but you need to fix those issues first. I don't want to be scared around you and that's how I feel right now."

"I'm sorry," I cry into the phone before hanging up.

I lay back on the bed and cry. I never meant to hurt Kyle. I like him. He's a good person. I just lost it. I'm losing it.

I wish everything was how it was when Mika and Andy first adopted us. Even when I was mad at him. Maybe if I wasn't they'd be together. This is probably all my fault.
