--Andy's POV--

"Well Nick seems like a nice kid," Fortune laughs.

Allie smacks his arm, "Fortune!"

"What?! And that hurt by the way!"

"You are something else," Allie sighs.

I laugh at the two.

"He's just nervous," mama says.

"I know," Fortune replies. "Why does everyone have to be so serious?"

Everyone just glares at him.

--Mika's POV--

"Nick," I say as I knock on his bedroom door. I hear him crying from the other side of the door. "Please open up..."

I give him a couple more minutes before knocking again. I hear him sigh loudly and unlock the door. He steps aside to let me in. I close the door again behind me.

"What's wrong?" I ask him.

He shakes his head and quickly wraps his arms around me. I slide to the floor as he starts to cry again into my shirt.

"It's okay," I tell him softly as I rub his back.

Nick grips my shirt tightly as he continues to cry.

"You know you don't have to try and impress them or even care what they think. Andy and I love you. Besides, what's not to like about you?" I ask.

He chuckles a bit as he stops crying. As he tries to catch his breathe he keeps a firm grip on my shirt.

"I'm just still scared that you're going to get sick of me or hate me," Nick says. "I want them to like me too, but I know I'll just fuck up."

"Language," I tell him. He chuckles again. "Like I said, don't worry about them. Just be yourself Nick. You didn't have to impress us, so why should you with them?"

Nick nods and stands up. He hugs me one more time before I reach for the door. I see him reach for his journal.

"When can I read what you've been writing about?" I ask as I turn to face him.

He grips his journal tightly. "Never."

"Why?"

"Because," he simply says.

I reach out for it, but he backs away.

"Nick, give me the journal."

Nick shakes his head.
