Just Friends

--Kyle's POV--

"So.." Nick said from beside me.

"So," I reply as I look towards the wall, not wanting to make eye contact.

"Do you want to go outback?"

"Sure," I reply and then follow him outback.

We sit on the glider together. In silence.

"Do you go to school here?" Nick asks.

I nod.

"I'm home schooled," he says.

I nod. Nick sighs. He then does the unthinkable and kisses me. It's just a light peck on the lips. I'm just left in shock when he pulls away and stares at me.

"Did you feel anything?" Nick asks.

I open my mouth, but nothing comes back. I don't know if I liked it. I'm really confused right now.

"I-I need to go," I tell him as I rush back inside.

I rush into Mika's room and regret it. I quickly exit the room and sit on the couch. Nick eventually comes back in and sits back down next to me.

"I'm sorry. I'm just," Nick starts, but stops.

"You've been through a lot," I tell him. I don't know what exactly he's been through, but from the little that I know it seems like a lot.

Nick nods and looks like he's going to cry. "I'm sorry," he says again.

"It's okay Nick. I like you. I'm just not sure if it's like that," I tell him. He nods. "...yet. Maybe someday, but I'd just like to get to know you if that's okay."

"It's okay. Thanks," Nick says.

I give him a smile and then he does it again! This time it's not just a peck. He shoves his tongue in my mouth.

"S-stop," I tell him as I try to push him away. He pins me to the couch. I push him back and shout, "Mika! Sarah!" Nick shoves his mouth back to mine.

Mika picks Nick up off of me. Nick wiggles out of Mika's arms and storms off to his room.

"Are you okay Kyle?" Mika asks.

I nod my head. I'm not okay. He attacked me. Something's wrong with him.
