--Fortune's POV--

So, the last thing expected was for Mika to ask if his girlfriend could move in with me. When he came out to ask me I thought he was going to yell at me or even punch me in the face for kissing her. Which, I don't regret kissing her.

I wish Mika hadn't have shown up. But, like always, I don't ever get what I want. Things never turnout the way I intend them to.

"Fortune?" Allie asks from the passenger seat.

I glance at her. She's so gorgeous. Mika will only break her heart.

"You looked like you were daydreaming," she giggles.

"Oh, sorry," I apologize and then quickly realize I've passed my street.

She giggles again as I turn around. I can't help but smile as she does. Her giggle gives me butterflies.

"Ever hear of an elevator?" Allie mumbles as we climb the five flights of stairs to my apartment.

"One more," I inform her. "I always use the stairs. The elevator breaks almost everyone someone uses it. Which is one of my biggest fears."

"You're scared of being stuck in an elevator?" Allie asks as we walk down the hall to my apartment.

"Yea," I reply. "Claustrophobic, you know?"

She nods and shoots me a understanding smile.

--Allie's POV--

I would've never guessed that someone as tall as Fortune would be claustrophobic. Maybe he's scared of getting stuck in small places. I don't know.

As he leads me into his apartment I notice that it smells just like him. Which definitely is not bad at all. To the right of the door is a kitchen with a giant island in the middle. In the center of the island is a clear glass container full of cupcakes.

"Oh my god," I whisper as I sneak off to the kitchen.

Fortune laughs as I take the top of the glass container and grab a cupcake.

"If you always keep this thing full I will never move out," I tell him as I sit at te counter.

The cupcake is the best that I've ever had. Strawberry on strawberry, my favorite. Even the center was filled with a strawberry cream.

"You are the best Fortune," I tell him.

He giggles and blushes slightly.

"I guess I'll have to bake more often. Have to show you my other baking skills," he says to me with a giant smile.

"Definitely. I love a man who can bake."

"Good to know," he says oddly.

Fortune then leads me down the hallway.

"The room on the left will be yours. The bathroom is right next to my room, across from you," he tells me.

"What's the other room?" I question him, pointing to the room at the end of the hallway next to mine.

"That's my studio slash study," he replies. "My drawings, sketches, books, and things like that are in there."

I nod my head at him.

"I'll see you in the morning?" Fortune asks me.

I nod my head again and flash him a smile before heading into my new room.
