"Mae?" Mew stood behind Pam, the house assistant while she was cooking a hearty meal for Mew. She turned towards him with a wide smile, She had been working in Suppasit mansion since he moved to Korea as he started building Madden from scratch.
Mew had a troubled past and later the only comfort place he found was Pam.
He called her Mae as he saw her as one. He never used loud tone with her, he always listened to her. She never took advantage of him, rather gave him more love and care even though she had a family of her own and a son of his age.
"Oh Finally! I was waiting for you. I made dinner." She smiled widely.
"Um, Thanks Mae. Mae? " Mew brought his lips in a thin line, thinking of way to tell something in a most easier way.
"Yea ?" Pam responded with a divided attention as she poured some soup in a bowl.
"I need a favor. " Mew said softly with nervous eyes.
Pam shot her eyes back at him and looked at him for awhile, "Is everything okay ?"
"Yea. Everything is fine. I just need you to do something for me. " He played his fingers on the kitchen marble counter.
"Okay." Pam responded with nodding her head immediately.
As Mew explained her the situation at the moment, her eyes widened gradually. She had seen Mew do some nasty stuff and now, not much could surprise her. But this act done by Mew literally surprised her. Because she knew, there was something more to it, something that involved a deeper emotion and she wanted Mew to deal with it on his own.
"I just wanted you to know. He will surely panic and I would be the last person he would want to see. So I need you to take care of him. Food, water, clothes, medical, Anything he needs. Anything. Just keep an eye on him, I don't want him to go. Away. "
Pam raised her eyebrow at his last words.
Mew blinked awkwardly and cleared his throat, He had forgotten that he had to use his words carefully but he always had let loose when Pam was around, he trusts her way too much to hide anything but he never let her know, how much she means to him.
Nevertheless, Pam knew. She knew how much he respects and loves her, without he even uttering a word. It was in his tone, in his eyes, in his actions, in his words and she would never leave her son's side. Whatever maybe. She had seen the worst, this was actually a blessing.
"Okay. I will take care of him." Pam responded without any questions, she trusted him and his actions.
"Thanks Mae. " Mew gave a small smile and stepped forward, he slowly wrapped his arms around her shoulders. Pam was shorter than him, way shorter. He kissed her head softly to show immense care and affection. Pam smiled as she patted her son's shoulder.
"How do you even know what I want without even asking ? And you don't even ask any questions. It still baffles me." Mew muttered as he pulled away awkwardly.
Pam knew, Mew wasn't very comfortable touching people or anyone touching him but he still did it, for her. He went out of his comfort zone, just to show his Mae how grateful he was.
"Well, if I dont know and trust my son. Who will ?" Pam smiled. Mew looked at her with a small smile.
"Okay. Comon, you need to eat. It's late. " Pam continued speaking while bringing the food to the dinning table with two more servants helping her. She was bickering with the other two to place the cutlery in a proper format.
Mew stood there not moving, deep thinking about Gulf. He looked above towards the stairs. Gulf was in his room, asleep for now. He knew this was going to be difficult. To make someone do something without hurting them, he always got his way while threatening the other person. But he just couldn't do that with Gulf. Gulf was different, he knew way inside in him that Gulf wouldn't take his threats, he is brave and moreover, a courageous person. Mew sighed.
