Mew was pacing around his cabin in ultimate anger and wanted to thrash something badly. He wanted to let his frustrations out. Who did he want to talk to? Who was it? Was it someone he knew? Would Gulf leave? Obviously, he would leave... but now? He can't.
Mew rolled his fists in anger and picked up a glass vase and smashed it on the floor. The sound was loud, he couldn't control his anger, Gulf was close, he had become something greater than someone he ever had in his life, He would tear the world apart with his anger right now.
Pam came in and stopped, she looked at Mew, the way his eyes raged with anger, feared her, and she gulped, Gulf stepped behind her and touched her shoulder, "I'll handle it. "
Pam looked at him and nodded. She walked out while closing the doors.
Gulf looked at Mew cautiously and walked ahead to him, Mew's back was facing him and heaving, breathing heavily. Mew was angry.
"Mew..." Gulf softly spoke. Mew breathed harder, his shoulders heaving up and down.
Gulf took a step closer and placed his hands on his shoulders, lower back, roamed it in a soothing manner, Mew relaxed in his touch, "Do you trust me, Mew?" Gulf said softly, sweetly. He placed his cheek on his right shoulder.
"I trust you but I don't trust people. " Mew said coarsely.
"I know you're worried but I can take care of my self " Gulf muttered.
"I don't think there is any discussion about that. No one can be trusted in this situation, everyone is a prominent danger, Gulf. " Mew turned and said sternly.
"Don't talk to me like that. I'm not one of your employees. " Gulf took a step back and folded his arms, he looked at Mew with irritated eyes.
Mew sighed, he held Gulf by his shoulders and ran his palm against it. He eventually drifted his eyes down and kissed his plump lips, "I'm sorry. But I can't help but worry."
"Worry is fine until it starts coming between us. " Gulf stared at his eyes.
"What do you want me to do? Just lie to you? It's not safe! and you won't even understand!" Mew sighed as he walked behind his desk, breathing in anger.
"I understand -"
"No, you don't! I can't live knowing that there is any danger coming at you, Gulf. Who was it ?"
"Mew.. I -"
"Who was it!" Mew said louder.
"Adrian," Gulf said while fighting with his inner feelings. Mew frowned at him and looked away.
"It's not what you think -"
"What do you want me to think!? Apart from your ex wanting to meet you and you pushing me away to speak to him? isn't that the truth?" Mew said with a cracked voice.
Gulf eyes formed tears in his eyes, he stepped closer to Mew, who was standing behind his desk at a safe distance, a distance at which he couldn't harm him.
He walked slowly reaching for his arm, then his chest, and crashing his whole body unto him, hugging him tightly, his face nested against Mew's neck. Mew didn't even hold him back.
"I love you, Mew... And nothing can change that. Not you...Not Adrian.. Not anyone.." Gulf leaned up and searched for some love in his eyes filled with doubt and fear.
Mew slowly brought his arms around Gulf and cupped his cheek, "Then let me come with you. Don't push me away. "
Gulf smiled and nodded, "Okay."
