It had been already a hard day for Mew and Gulf but it didn't seem to get over soon. The telephone rang multiple times, waking up Gulf in the middle of the night. Pam answered it, Gulf opened his eyes slowly, hearing the faint footsteps and murmuring of her behind the closed door.
He then sat up on the bed tiredly when the bedroom door swung open, A frantic Pam looked at Gulf, breathlessly.
"What is it, Pam ?" Gulf widened his eyes as he walked towards her quickly.
Pam covered her mouth as she sobbed, "My.. My husband.. He... They say he isn't responding.. I.. Don't. Don't know. I am.. I don't "
Gulf swallowed thickly, assessing the situation. Shit, this can't be good.
Gulf brought his arms around her shoulders, embracing her slowly, warming her with comfort. He was constantly thinking what to say to ease her situation and he just had one answer, "Everything will be alright, Mae. It will be just fine. I am here, Okay? It's gonna be fine."
Pam cried in his arms as she broke down, hopelessly.
Gulf rubbed her back, soothingly, "Why don't you get dressed? Don't wake up Sam. I'll go wake up Mew. We will go to the hospital right away. Okay? Come on."
Gulf supported her as he guided her towards her room, and left her to get dressed. He then rubbed his face with worry, Shit! He ran up the stairs and opened Mew's bedroom in one swift motion. He quickly sat next to mew, cupping his cheek softly, "Mew? Mew? Hey. Hey. Get up. Please. "
Mew slept soundly and deeply as he was exhausted extremely. He opened his eyes slowly with the soft touch of Gulf and the faint voice of his.
"Honey ?" Gulf shook him softly.
Mew got up in a jolt as he realized he wasn't dreaming anymore but Gulf waking him was real. He was worried as he checked Gulf continuously, " Are you okay? What's wrong!?"
"I am fine." Gulf pushed his hands away with a shake of his head, "It's Pam. "
Mew widened his eyes.
Within few minutes, Mew was driving us to the hospital, Gulf was holding his seat, It scared him. The roads were empty at 3 am in the morning, Pam was wiping her tears as she looked outside the window.
"Mew? Mew? Mew!!!" Gulf shouted as he led the dashboard of the front. Mew had swung the car to the extreme right, for a turn. They were running over 120 km per hour, Gulf was breathing hard.
"Mew. Slow down. Mew!!" Gulf shouted as he looked at Mew, driving insanely. Mew was deaf-eared, he was consumed in his thoughts. Gulf cursed as he held Mew's hand while he drove. Mew looked at Gulf nervously, "Mew... Slow down. Please. "
Mew stared at Gulf as he slowed down and drove at the normal fast speed, "It's gonna be fine. Okay ?" Mew squeezed Gulf's hand for comfort. Gulf leaned in and caressed his cheek, kissing his cheek softly. "I am here. Don't worry. We will do this together. "
Mew nodded as he drove us to the hospital.

The doctor stepped out of the ICU, All of them stood up waiting for his report.
"It's not good." The doctor hung his head as he passed the report to Mew.
"What is it ?" Mew asked him as he shuffled with the papers.
"He isn't responding. We have put him on the ventilator but I don't think he will make it back this time. His heart is dropping and he is likely to go into a sleep-induced coma with pressure. I suggest Euthanasia as an option. His chances of survival are below 1%, even if he does come back, he will forever be asleep. He won't wake up, he would be just breathing. I'm sorry.... I'll leave you to see him now. Call me when you make a decision "
