Mew walked into Suppasit mansion alone, Gulf followed behind. They drove home in silence. Gulf had cried soberly.
Gulf had defended them but Mew just punched Adrian hard and god knows what he would've done if Gulf didn't stop him. He never told Gulf, he loved him. But he couldn't stand there and do nothing. He had to do something.
Pam looked at Mew as he went up to his room. Gulf stopped looking away, He needed a minute.
He walked to the kitchen and filled up his glass with some cold water, Pam stood behind him.
"Tea?" She smiled.
"Okay. " He nodded absentmindedly.
"You know... Tea can be made in different ways. It depends on different cultures, different resources, different beliefs. Some like with Milk, some like with sugar, some like with cream, some like with just water. But every tea has one thing in common. " She said as she worked on the tea, she poured some water swiftly and a few tea leaves in the vessel, she brought few more canister around and flicked few somethings in the saucepan, boiling it over.
The aroma was amazing, Gulf stood next to her looking at the boiling tea, feeling tranquility.
She then switched off the stove and strained the tea in a white cup and handed it in a saucer to Gulf, "What's the common thing?"
"Refresh. Pause. Everything can be paused if you want to. And Tea does that. It brings peace and calmness. It brings freshness." She smiled.
"This wasn't all just about Tea, wasn't it?" He looked at the brown, reddish glass-like tea.
She smiled and patted his shoulder gently, "Everything can be solved with a little bit of pause and calmness. Like the tea. Give it some time and the bitterness dissolves into something beautiful, sweet, and aromatic. "
"Okay?" She raised her eyebrow.
"Okay." Gulf smiled, they stood there having tea in silence with a smile on their faces.
Gulf understood what Pam had to say, He walked to Mew's bedroom and opened the door, The shower was on and so was the bathroom door open. Gulf sighed.
He walked in and saw Mew's translucent body behind the blurred glass, Mew had swept his hair back under the shower while he stressed about something constantly.
Gulf stripped himself slowly and walked towards the glass door, he opened and Mew froze but didn't turn.
He traced his index finger from his shoulder to his spine, trailing down till his tail bone, Mew placed his hands on the white tiles, tensing. Gulf smiled and wrapped his hands around Mew's waist slowly and kissed his nape softly.
"What's going on in your mind ?"
"Many things." Mew muttered placing his head on his palm on the wall.
"You know, thinking about other things in the shower beside me isn't a good thing. " Gulf whispered with a smile and kissed his ear lobe.
Mew pulled back, smiled, and placed his hands on Gulf's, "Correction. Thinking about other things anytime apart from you isn't a good thing."
Gulf chuckled as he placed his chin on Mew's shoulder, intertwining their fingers on Mew's stomach, Gulf looked down at their hands with a pout, "Does it hurt a lot ?"
Mew sighed, "Sometimes."
Gulf turned his head towards Mew's cheek, He then pulled away and came in front of Mew, "You can't escape from me. I won't let you get lost."
