"You want me to believe that ?" Mr. Kao sat opposite Mew in his study. Mew had his meetings at home, he trusted Mr. Kao, He had to. He had no choice. This was his last resort. Last resort to make things straight, in order. He never knew how he got in this business, maybe it was passion or a will to be the biggest man anyone ever knew, he liked the fear.

His past didn't treat him so well, But he never complained. He did what he had to do. That was the excuse, Every single time. I had to do it, I had to. There was no choice. But now, he did have that choice. A very clear choice and that was because of only one person. One person that he never knew could hold such a place in his heart. But it did.

Gulf.

Mew gave a sigh and walked towards the large window covered with long drapes, he placed his hands in his pockets and looked out, his eyes were sad. It told a story. A story no one was willing to hear. But he couldn't let Gulf's story end, even though if it meant that his story could.

Sam and Gulf cycled in circles, chasing the other with laughs. Mew looked at them and smiled sadly. He looked at them with sadness but also with a will to make things right. He had to.

"Yes, and I will trust you Mr. Kao" Mew turned and extended his hand towards him. Mr.Kao looked at him narrowly, "And why is that? You know, I could arrest you anytime or even kill you. Why would you risk yourself just because of someone? What if I don't keep up the deal on my end? then what? Even though, I don't need to. Because leaving you alive...that's a favor. "

"I will trust you, Mr. Kao. This is for all past mistakes. I know it's unfair and bullshit, one good deed can't erase the fucked up past. But you have to trust me, Mr.Kao. You have only one choice." Mew walked back to his seat and sat in.

"Let's face it, General. You have been behind me for years but never able to take me in. And now, I am giving it to you. Isn't this good for you and your country? " Mew said with stern eyes.

"And I know, it doesn't make sense. I have been an arms dealer and been part of many conspiracies for many years. But now, I will do my end of the deal and you will do yours. " Mew looked at him as he held his hands on the desk.

Mr.Kao looked at him for a while, "I can still arrest you, Mr. Suppasit. You know that right ?"

"Yes, and I will not stop you. And if you think it's the right thing to do, I will not stop it. But I need this. Not for me but someone important. Please. " Mew said with a soft voice.

"Damn, I must be mad to do this with you. But if it's gonna help the country. Fine, I'll do it. But! I will decide whether you need to be arrested or not." Mr. Kao said sternly with a frown.

"Absolutely," Mew said with a smirk and extended his hand, Mr.Kao shook his hand firmly.

"Thank you. " Mew said with a smile.

 -

"Sam!! Would you please slow down!" Gulf shouted behind as he raced behind Sam, his tires screeched at the stop. Sam stopped suddenly near the curb, afar from the mansion.

"Why is the general here ?" Sam said softly with worry as he looked at the black car.

Gulf looked at him confused, "What?"

"The general!" Sam pointed towards the main doors while Mr.Kao came out. Mew and Kao shook hands for the last time. Mr. Kao waved towards Gulf to which Gulf returned a wave bye back with a smile. In a few moments, the black car drove outside the gates.

"You okay ?" Gulf asked Sam as he placed his hand on Sam's shoulder. Gulf was utterly confused. What the hell is going on?

"Why is Mewie smiling with the general? They don't like each other. " Sam said looking at Mew as he looked at them with a nod and walked back inside.
