(A/N): Just a bit of a disclaimer... I don't really write soulmate AU's very often, so this may not be the greatest. In this AU, your soulmate's name(s) is/ are written on your wrist and they change color based on the soulmate's feelings (like an accurate mood ring, basically).

Warnings: Unintentional neglect

Tim hummed softly as he entered his apartment.

It was much later than usual, but Tim had been working overtime in an effort to save up a little extra money for engagement rings for his three soulmates. Of course, he couldn't tell them that, so they probably just assumed that Tim was being his usual workaholic self.

He entered the small apartment quietly, expecting his boyfriends to be asleep given that it was almost two in the morning.

His coffee brown eyes widened as they spotted a certain caramel haired star lounging on the couch.

"Brian? What are you doing up?"

"I could ask you the same." Brian quirked a brow. "I haven't seen you in days... I'm worried, Jay and Alex are too."

Tim felt the guilt weigh down on his stomach. "I know, Bri. I've just been-"

"Busy, I know." Brian stood up and walked over to the shorter male. He frowned slightly, putting a hand on his cheek. "You have bags under your eyes... you look exhausted."

"I'm fine, Brian." Tim gently pushed his hand away.

Brian said nothing, simply grabbing his soulmate's hand and lightly pulling him into the bedroom.

Tim changed quickly before snuggling between Alex and Jay. Brian situated himself on the end, protectively hugging all three of them.

"Goodnight, Timmy."

"G'night, Bri, I love you..."

"I love you too."

Tim woke up to the smell of bacon.

He was confused. Wasn't my phone alarm supposed to wake me up? Usually I'm the first to get up.

Tim shrugged, tiredly sitting up. He looked around. All three of his boyfriends were absent from their bed. He was seriously confused now. Where are they? I'm the only one who works on Saturdays.

Tim stumbled out of bed and tiredly walked into his kitchen/dining room area (A/N: It's a small apartment; there's not enough room for separated dining and kitchen areas). I need a coffee. He yawned.

"Hi, Tim."

"Hey, Alex." Tim paused. Wait, what? The shorter male turned back around to see his boyfriend making some bacon at the stove. "Wait, Alex?"

The glasses wearing young man looked up. "Uh... yes?"

"You're up early."

Alex shrugged. "I'm a morning person. I've been up for hours."

Tim blinked. Hours? "... What time is it?"

Alex finished up his bacon and put it onto four plates. "Almost ten. Can you put these on the table?"

"Almost..." Tim trailed off, processing Alex's words as he made a mad dash for the door.

"TIM!" Alex glared at the darker haired male as he sprinted for the door.

"I'm late for work!"

"No you're not!"

Tim turned back to face Alex. "What do you mean, I'm not?!"

Conveniently, Brian exited the bathroom, his hair still damp from the shower. "I heard Tim yelling. What's up?"

Tim groaned, marching back to his room to put on some actual clothes. "I'll explain later. I gotta hurry up and get to work."

"No you don't." Brian said nonchalantly, admiring the writing along his wrist. "Geez, you're way too panicked. Your name switched colors again."

"What are you talking about?!" Tim was frankly getting a little frustrated by Alex and Brian seeming so calm about this.

"What's going on?" Jay peeked his head out from the other bathroom door. "I heard raised voices. I don't want to have to talk to the apartment keeper (A/N: Whatever you call the person in charge of the apartment complexes) again."

"Nothing, Jaybird." Brian gave the anxious man a dashing smile. "I just called Tim in absent for work for the weekend without his permission."

Jay pursed his lips. "Um, I don't think Tim's-"

"You did what?!" Tim was certainly angry now. "Brian! You can't do that!"

"I'm pretty sure he just did." Alex smirked. "Not much you can do about it now."

"Aww, don't be upset, Timmy." Brian wrapped him in a hug. "We just wanted to spend time with you."

"But I was-" Tim cut himself off before he revealed his plan.

"Even though I think Brian should have told you, I don't think he did the wrong thing." Jay said quietly.

Tim's eyes widened.

"We... really miss you, Tim." He admitted, blushing slightly.

Alex just grunted in agreement, showing Tim his wrist. Jay and Brian's names were less colorful than usual, almost grey. Grey was bad. Grey was lonely and depressed, Tim never wanted that.

Tim gasped, tightening his hold on his lovers. He felt his eyes tear up slightly in regret. "I'm sorry; I-I didn't mean-"

"We know... just... try not to work so much?" Jay suggested timidly.

"Yeah... I'll do that." Tim pulled in the slender young man for a kiss. "I love you guys."

"We love you too, Tim." Brian beamed at him.

(A/N): Please don't get the wrong idea from this one-shot; Tim is my favorie Marble Hornets character of all time, but I can see him getting so caught up in the future that he forgets a bit about the present.

I still hope you enjoyed! Thank you so much for reading!
