(A/N): I'm not a huge fan of how the pregame V3 characters are portrayed, a lot of them seem like illogically unrealistic characters, which I find ironic considering that V3 takes place in a relatively normal world.
But I also just really like Shuichi and dislike seeing him being made into a toxic character.
Sorry for my rant. Anywho, this is a little bit of my version of the pregame Shuichi.
Warnings: Obsessive behavior, implied past neglect
One more question.
Shuichi knew that much; he had memorized the Danganronpa audition questionnaire years ago, after all.
"And..." He continued, tugging on his hat as his cheeks heated up with embarrassment. "If I were to ever be in the game, I'd be fine with any personality they assign me. Really, as I said before, I'd do anything to be in Danganronpa! That being said... I have one thing I'd like to add. I'm fine with whatever personality I'm assigned... but I'd like to be a likable character. I want to be one of those characters that the fans remember fondly and share interest in! I want to be loved by someone! Anyone! Even if it's just one person... I want someone to love me..." He snapped out of his self pity. "t-that's why I'm happy with whatever I'm assigned with! Even if you completely demolish everything that makes up my being, I will be happy as long as I'm a part of Danganronpa! And I mean it... I'll make the cases so interesting... I will earn my place in the game. That much, I promise."
