Brian exhaled slowly as he slyly wrapped an arm around his boyfriend's waist.

Tim looked over at him, slightly flustered, but he pretended to not care about the gesture.

The couple sat in a comfortable silence as they watched the television. They were just embracing the period of peace they had together.

After a while Tim began to shift nervously. "Hey... Brian?"

The taller man frowned at the anxious tone in his partner's voice. "Yeah?"

"I... I love you..." The brunet said softly

Brian froze. They had been dating for over a year and never once had they used the L-word.

Granted, Brian had been tempted, but he knew that Tim had a complicated history with the concept of love, so he kept his mouth shut.

"T-Tim, I-"

"Oh geez, was that too fast? I knew this was a bad idea. I'm-"

"No, no! I love you too, Tim."

Now it was Tim's turn to be shocked. His face went red. "You... do?"

Brian nodded, touching their foreheads together. "You're my world, Timothy Wright."

Tim fumbled over his words, mentally cursing himself for not being as smooth as his boyfriend. "Y-you're mine too, Brian Thomas." He said, setting on punctuating his statement with a kiss.

Brian hummed quietly. "I'm going to marry you someday and make you the happiest man alive."

Tim wrapped his arms around Brian. "Not if I do it first."

Brian playfully rose a brow. "Is that a challenge, Timmy?"

Tim shook his head, not breaking eye contact. "It's a promise."
