ep. 03

The letter had a key which led to the class's rabbit cage. Each year they would have to take care of pets and that specific year they chose rabbit's.

Visit early in the morning so nobody would see you. The fifth letter is in the deep part of the cage.

"YES !"

Seori shouted out loud, finally finding the fifth letter hidden in one of the rabbit houses. She sat inside the pen with a rabbit on her lap as she read the letter.

Every year there would be someone or two taking care of the pets. If you haven't decided on a role, how about consider this one ? I used to take care of these furry things every other day. Seori accidentally dropped the bag of snacks to the ground and a few rabbits began sniffing it.

"Ah no, no these are not your snacks." Seori laughed as she saw the rabbit trying to eat the snacks. On the other hand, a boy holding a broom was outside the cage, earphones still plugged in. He stopped and frowned. "I thought I was the only one who had the key ?"

The boy was confused. He then remembered and saw a vision. He could see his best friend's back.

"Jungwon ?!"

He ran in the cage and saw Seori playing with the rabbits. The guy then rolled his eyes after seeing someone else instead. "Are you the new rabbit keeper ?" He said coldly. Seori was shocked and still flustered from the sudden surprise.

"AH- HUH- WHAT- UM- YEAH !"

Seori said in shock, smiling awkwardly. The boy looked at the ground and thought to himself- "I was wrong again." He then counted all the rabbits as Seori stood up, dusting off the dirt. He groaned before turning to the girl behind him. "Oi shortie, we're two rabbits short." The look on their faces just shows- "Fuck. We're screwed."

The two went out and flustered Seori kept apologizing as they kept searching between bushes. "I really am sorry." She said still panicking. "Ehh, don't worry about it. Just focus on finding them." Seori was thinking, why is this guy so chill ? Just then Seori saw one of the white rabbits munching on grass before pouncing on it.

Right.

Jungwon had mentioned in the letter that all the white rabbits were dang fast.

Somehow the guy managed to catch it and placed it back in the cage, swearing under his breath. Seori then went back to the cage to see that there were only two brown rabbits, originally three. She turned away from the unknown guy to see Jungwon's letter of advice. 

Sometimes one of the brown rabbits loves to hide in dark and deep holes or trees.

It took them a while to find the last rabbit until the first bell rang. "Ah, the bell..." The boy said as he put away his phone and earphones in his pocket. Seori stood up, sighing. "Sorry... you go first. I'll find the other one on my own."

The boy shook his head and went back to search for the small lost creature. "I'll help. The rabbits are my responsibility too." Seori nodded, feeling guilty that the guy was also gonna get scolded for being late to class. But it took them another 10 minutes before Seori found the brown rabbit in a pipe hole.
