Chapter 20 - Hammock

[Y/n's pov]
Newt never told me, what we were talking about while I was drunk, but after a week I gave up. Soon it will be second week of the third month.
I am in the bathroom, getting ready for my shower. That's when someone opens the doors. I cover my halfway naked body behind towel.
,,What the fuck?!" I yell, looking at Alfred, who was set free two days ago. ,,Get the hell out Alfred! It's my time to shower!" all the boys know when I am taking a shower, so they respect me and my privacy.
,,Jeez, chill." says Alfred, checking my body hidden behind my towel.
,,I said, get out!" I say. He leaves rolling his eyes. I block the doors with a chair. Then I go to the shower, letting the water hit my body and hair.

After the shower I wrap myself in my towel, before putting on underwear. When I leave the shower space, heading towards a chair under a window I left my clothes on, I notice there are non of my clothes.
,,Shit." I say, wrapping my body into the towel. I look at my watch. I have at least five minutes, before someone comes, wanting to take shower. I need to get to my hut. I start encouraging myself, to run through the Glade only in towel. I put the chair away, when I hear someone passing by. Walking near the window. Not walking, limping.
,,Newt!" I say immediately.
,,(Y/n)?" Newt asks, stopping next to the window.
,,Someone took my clothes, I'm only in my underwear and towel.. I need to get to my hut." I explain everything quickly.
,,Yeah, sure, how can I help?" he asks.
,,Can I borrow your hoodie?" I ask, leaning over the edge of the window.
,,Sure." answers Newt, taking off his hoodie, handing it to me.
,,Thanks." I say, putting it on. The hoodie goes to half my thighs. I smile, knowing it will cover me more than my towel. I put the chair away.
,,Do you know who took your clothes?" asks Newt, the moment I stand next to him. I notice he's trying not to look at me.
,,I actually think it was Alfred." I admit. He nodds, leaving me. I run to my hut, closing behind me, locking my lame lock.

,,Hello." I snap my head to the left, seeing Alfred. Before I can do anything, he wraps his fingers around my throat. Not chocking me, but holding me tightly. I try to push him off of me. All I can think of, is screaming for help.
,,Newt!!" I scream on top of my lungs. Alfred only grabbing me more tightly.
,,Shut up. You'll enjoy it, eventually." he says, as he catches my wrists in one his hand.
I try to kick him, but I can't. I scream Newt's name again, feeling hopeless.
,,I said, shut up!" yells Alfred, forcing me to lay on my bed. I'm laying on my back, trying to fight, but both my hands being held over my head, and Alfred holding my hips with his knees, makes it too hard.
,,Let go off me!" I yell, feeling tears in my eyes. That's when I hear loud bang ob the door.
,,Fuck." says Alfred, sliding his hand under Newt's hoodie.
,,No!" I yell.
,,(Y/n)!" I hear Newt's voice, from begind the doors.
,,Newt!" I yell, before Alfred slams his hand on my mouth.
,,Shut up." he says, moving his hand back to my waist, trying to take off Newt's hoodie with one hand.
,,Minho, kick the shucking door down!" I hear Newt screaming. Almost panicking.
,,Leave me the fuck alone! Get off me!" I try to fight again, not helping. Alfred just touching my body. That's when Minho kicks down the doors. Then he, Newt and Alby run into my hut. Alby and Minho taking Alfred away quickly. I sit up, pulling as much down as possible Newt's hoodie.
,,Hey, are you alright?" I hear Newt ask. Then I feel hand on my shoulder jerking away, looking at him. I can feel tears in my eyes. I look at his face avoiding his eyes, as I slowly nod. Newt climbs up on the bed, sitting in front of me. He places his hand on my shoulder again.
,,(Y/n), look me in the eyes and tell me if you are okay." he says, holding both my shoulders. I look him in the eyes inhaling.
,,I..I'm o-" my voice breaking with this letter. I hide my face in Newt's chest, crying like crazy. Him only holding me tightly stroking my back, saying everything's going to be just fine.

,,I'm sorry about the emotional outburst.." I say as I'm walking really close to Newt. We are going to have a dinner with the rest of the Gladers. I didn't allow him to leave me anywhere, so when I was changing he stayed in, not looking. ,,Thank you, for saving me..." I continue, looking at him. ,,And not leaving my side ever since-"
,,Princess," he cuts me off, I stop, him following the lead shortly after. ,,I-I was totally helpless, you were almost rapped, and I couldn't do a thing, if it wasn't for Minho, you would probably be still closed in your hut.." he looks away. I place my hands on his cheeks,  turning him softly to face me.
,,Newt, if it wasn't for you, I would run through Glade only in towel. Alfred would rape me and I would be hopeless... " I say looking him into the eyes. ,,You saved me, no matter if someone helped you, you were the one that knew, and saved me." I smile at him. I notice him looking from my eyes to my lips. He leans in a little, when we hear a door open. I snap my head looking at the kitchen as I let go of his face.
,,Let's get some dinner, before they eat everything." he suggests, walking backwards to make sure I'm right behind him.

I am in my hut, with locked doors. I switch positions again, trying to fall asleep. But it's not helping. I just move again, spinning around, trying to find the most comfortable position. I get up, unlocking the door, rushing through a sleeping Glade.
,,Newt," I start standing over a boy in hammock. He didn't go to his room after I got my hut. ,,are you up?" I ask in low voice.
,,Yeah, is everything alright princess?" he asks, turning around to look at me.
,,I just can't sleep in my own hut.." I admit. He looks at me sadly. ,,Would you mind me staying with you?" I ask biting my bottom lip.
,,Sure, uh, here." he says moving a little to the edge so I have space to lay down.
,,Thanks." I smile honestly. I lay in the hammock. Then the gravity sends me straight on Newt's chest. ,,Oh my god, I am so sorry." I say backing off a little. I never was in hammock.. I didn't know it would just do this.
,,It's alright." Newt laughs lightly. I smile resting, starting to fall asleep real quick. Then I feel Newt moving, so he turned his back at me. I don't mind, I rest my head against his back, already half asleep.
,,I'm sorry." says Newt. It takes me while before I realize why's he saying sorry.
,,Oh My God!" I panic, with the slight shock waking me up. ,,Should I leave? Or-"
,,No! I mean, if you want to.." Newt sounds awkwardly.
,,No, I mean, if you don't mind.." I know I sound awkwardly too. I feel kinda bad...
,,No, I don't, I will be turned like this." he laughs eventually. I relax, falling asleep the moment I close my eyes.

I wake up, with my head rested on Newt's chest. And my leg on his waist. He's holding me tightly around my shoulders with one arm. The other one around my waist and placed on my tight. His chest rising and falling with rhythm. I look at my watch. It's 8 am, so every Glader is already up. That's when I feel Newt move slightly. He woke up. Then he stops, and doesn't move a bit. I smile slightly, knowing he's trying not to wake me up. That's when I feel him rubbing his thumb in circle motions on my thigh. I want to fall asleep again, but I can't.
,,I'm so sorry!" I say as I quickly back off, not realizing this is hammock.
I back off way too much, falling over the edge.
,,(Y/n)!" yells Newt, loosing the balance with the hammock, falling over the edge on top of me. He holds himself up on his elbows. I look at him, his face only inches away from mine.
,,I'm sorry." I laugh. After while Newt joins in, laughing with me. He picks himself up, helping me up afterwards.
