"Untie me," Taehyung said, his word muffled as Jimin stared at him. A chill went down his spine. Jimin's eyes had no light in them. Taehyung seriously messed him up. "Jimin,"
"No," Jimin's jaw clenched, and he shook his head. "I'm not going to untie you,"
Taehyung's eyes turned electric blue, glaring at the boy who stood over him. "Untie me," He ordered.
Jimin did not listen. Taehyung's power did not work on him. "You're going to stay here, and I'm going to leave without you,"
Taehyung violently moved in the chair, trying to break himself free. He was tearing red in the face. "You're not going just to leave me here," Taehyung snapped. "Let me go!"
"I'm not going back there," Jimin said. His expression was blank. He had no fear in his eyes nor some sick excitement. He was showing no emotion at all, which scared Taehyung slightly. "I'm leaving with my friends,"
"I'm your friend," Taehyung shouted. He struggled in the chair, using all of his strength, but the ropes did not budge. He looked up to see everyone, including sick Yoongi, standing in the kitchen doorway. "Fuck your friends, and they never cared for you,"
The cloth wrapped around his mouth was wet. Taehyung had a crazed look in his eye.
"Calm down, or you'll exert yourself," Jin stated. No one made an effort to move. Taehyung looked like a tied-up dog who was never set free.
"You," Taehyung seethed, looking straight at Jin. "Namjoon's rotting in the Facility, and you haven't moved an inch to help him,"
"He would be doing the same thing," Jin replied, his hand shaking by his side as his other hand was holding up Yoongi. "For the safety of everyone,"
Taehyung cackled, throwing his head back. "You lie. I'm sure this is exactly what you are planning. Keeping everyone here, like bait,"
Taehyung's hair stuck to the back of his neck, his shirt was soaked on the front and back from sweat. He was still struggling in the chair, trying to break free. The vein in his neck popped out.
Jin knew he was going to exert him, and he was beginning to panic. The boy was going to have a panic attack, and Jin needed to prevent it from happening. He nudged Jungkook to grab Yoongi. He walked across the room and grabbed a clean cloth from the drawer. He soaked it with water and walked up to Taehyung.
Taehyung was panting. "Untie me,"
Jin could see Taehyung's eyes roll back. He was exhausted. Jin patted the wet cloth onto Taehyung's forehead. Taehyung reacted violently and tried to kick him. Jin might as well leave him like this. They needed him knocked out, and there was no need for them to make an effort. Taehyung would simply knock himself out.
"I hate you," Taehyung sneered.
"I don't think I've given you a reason to hate me," Jin said softly, looking at the younger boy. He almost felt bad. Jin and the others weren't bad people; at least they weren't trying to be. He turned to face everyone. "Let's leave him alone,"
"Do you know why I can't stand you?" Taehyung seethed. Jin stayed silent. He turned to look at Taehyung and shook his head. Everyone else was listening closely. "I wasn't Felix's pet at first. It was you, and I never wanted this. This power. This life. You took me from my home and brought me to him."
"You're lying," Jin muttered between his teeth. Yoongi was looking at him, and it made Jin jittering. "This is what you do. You make us believe your lies."
"I'm not lying about this," Taehyung retorted. Jin frowned. They knew Taehyung wasn't using his powers, and he's failed to use them so far. Jin clenched his hands. His hands couldn't stop shaking.
He wanted to hit him. He just wanted Taehyung to stop talking – all he ever does is talk, whether it was the truth or not. He would end it right now, all of the lying. There was nothing he would lose if Taehyung died. No one would care.
"Jimin!"
The sound of dull thuds came from behind him. He turned to see Jimin punching Taehyung repeatedly in the face. Yoongi had been the one to shout at Jimin to stop. Jin was frozen in his spot; he couldn't move his body to stop Jimin. He almost felt relieved it wasn't him who took the first hit.
"Jin!" Yoongi shouted at him. "Jimin, fucking stop!"
Jin was shoved aside by Hoseok, which snapped him out of his trance. Once out of his trance, he helped Hoseok pull Jimin off of Taehyung. Hoseok and Jin pulled Jimin out of the kitchen and into the living room, where they pushed him onto the couch. Jungkook had quickly moved Yoongi out of the way.
Yoongi gripped onto Jungkook. Both of them stayed by the doorway. All of them were shocked at what just happened, and Yoongi couldn't get the image out of his mind. Jimin had no expression as he stood over Taehyung, his knuckles ripped open and turned bloody as he repeatedly punched Taehyung over and over.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Surprisingly, it was Hoseok who was the first one to say something. Everyone else was frozen. "Look, I don't fucking know you, but you don't beat someone senseless while they are unable to defend themselves,"
Jin couldn't help but snicker humourlessly. "You suggested killing him earlier, but that makes sense,"
Hoseok rolled his eyes, pointing at Jimin. "No, that was animalistic. What he fucking did doesn't make sense,"
Hoseok's words shut Jin up. No one seemed to know what to do. Everyone was quiet, eyes watching the boy sitting on the couch. His knuckle was dripping blood, and he was staring at nothing—no light in his eyes.
--
Taehyung gasped awake. A sharp pain woke him up, and he tried to move, but he was unable to. He was still tied to the chair. "I'm sorry, I just wanted to clean the cut,"
He looked up to see Yoongi in front of him and Hoseok near beside him. Neither of the other three boys was in the kitchen with them. He moved his head sharply when Yoongi reached toward him. "Where's Jimin?"
"In his room," Yoongi answered softly. "He's resting,"
"Felix won't let him leave," Taehyung hadn't noticed they removed the cloth that was tied around his mouth. He did see the knife in Hoseok's hand, which he didn't doubt he would use if Taehyung attempted to use his powers. "He'll hunt you down if you take him out of the city, he allows this freedom, and that's pushing it,"
"You did something to him," Yoongi muttered. "You messed with his mind,"
"I did what he asked me to do," Taehyung replied.
"And what is that?" Yoongi asked, still holding the wet cloth in his hand. "What did you do to him?"
"I made him unafraid," Taehyung answered.
"You made him heartless," Yoongi's bottom lip quivered in the slightest. Taehyung smiled.
Yoongi pointed at something, and Hoseok handed it over. Yoongi hissed in pain, but he managed to stand up. Taehyung didn't struggle as Yoongi wrapped the cloth around Taehyung's mouth, his eyes staring back at Yoongi.
"You deserved it," Yoongi whispered, and both boys left the room.
Taehyung didn't know how long time passed until someone else entered the room. It was Jin, and he was holding a medicine pack. "It's the least we can do,"
Taehyung rolled his eyes. Jin didn't remove the cloth.
Jin didn't look him in the eye while cleaning Taehyung's face while Taehyung stared at him the whole time. Jin felt the resentment radiating off of Taehyung. "I know you're not lying," Jin finally admitted after a few minutes. "I just wished you were. I remember."
Taehyung's eyes went dark. "I'm going to fucking kill you and everyone in this goddamn apartment,"
