There was a loud bang, and something like an explosion came from outside his room. Taehyung pushed himself from his bed and rushed out of the room. He found Jimin standing by the front door, staring down at his hands. His eyes were gleaming an electric blue. On the floor were pieces of debris from the side table and pieces of glass from the flower vase.
Taehyung couldn't tell what had happened. It looked like the table had exploded into pieces. "What did you do? "Taehyung exclaimed in surprise.
Jimin looked up, his head shooting up at the sound of Taehyung's voice. He looked like a deer in the headlights. "I can't feel anything," Taehyung finally noticed Jimin's hands, and they were bleeding.
"Jimin" Taehyung gasped. He stepped forward, causing Jimin to step back. "You're bleeding,"
"I can see that," Jimin muttered. He watched his blood drip on the floor. "Why can't I feel this?"
"You're in shock," Taehyung answered, but he wasn't sure himself. Jimin collapsed against the wall and slid down to the ground. "Here, you need to bandage your hands,"
"No!" Jimin grabbed the broken table leg and flung it toward Taehyung.
The debris flew so closely near Taehyung that if Jimin had been a better shot, he'd have hit Taehyung. The edge of the leg was sharp, and it would have stabbed Taehyung. The other boy was too focused on helping him that Taehyung wasn't on guard. "Jimin, what's wrong with you?"
"Nothing's fucking wrong with me!" Jimin shouted.
Taehyung instinctively reached for his knife but stopped himself. It was the first time Jimin showed any genuine emotion since their stay at the Manor. The guilt and pain in his face.
Their stay at the Manor felt like a lifetime.
"Everyone wants me to be what they want," Jimin seethed. "I don't even know who I am,"
"Jimin," Taehyung tried. "Let me help you,"
"How?" Jimin looked at him.
"Tell me what's wrong," Taehyung said, his hand on the sheath of his knife. Ready to strike to protect himself if he needed to if Jimin attacked him. He bent down on one knee on the ground next to him. "You have to tell me what's wrong so I can help you,"
Jimin was slumped against the wall, hands gripping his hair, his head between his knees. The blood smeared across his hair. "I was too harsh," he muttered through his teeth. "I didn't mean to,"
"What happened?" Taehyung asked, his hand still on his sheath. He had to be careful. Jimin might have another outburst.
"I went to talk to Yoongi, and I grabbed him," Jimin said, shamefully. Taehyung realized Jimin was breaking out of his control. "I didn't mean to, I tried to say I was sorry, but I couldn't say anything,"
"Then let me help you," Taehyung removed his hand from his sheath and placed his hand on Jimin's shoulder. He would need to be quick if Jimin reacted badly. "I can take it away,"
Jimin raised his head with tears pooling in his eyes. He looked at Taehyung for a long second and nodded. "Please," he reached out, and Taehyung grabbed his hand. "I don't want to feel anything anymore, and I feel angry all the time."
Taehyung clasped his hand with Jimin. His blood pressed into his skin. He whispered his words, promised Jimin to help him and watched the pain disappear from his eyes. A void.
No more anger. No more light in Jimin.

Yoongi opened the door.
