"That's my final decision," Yoongi declared, glaring at Namjoon."Are you insane?" Namjoon hissed, stopping short when the door opened. Jin walked in, looking behind him where Jimin sat quietly – Yoongi and Jimin briefly catching each other's eyes - and closed the door. "That is not your choice to make."
Yoongi sighed, looking away from the door. They sat there in silence, Yoongi playing with the rings on his necklace. "You can't just hand him over to Felix."
"I'm not handing him over to Felix," Namjoon argued. "When Jimin wakes, our orders are to let Felix know."
"We don't actually know why he wants him" Yoongi glared. "Why did he wait for Jimin to wake up?"
Namjoon looked at him, speechless – unsure what to say. "For his plan."
"What fucking plan?" Yoongi raised his voice, earning a loud shush from Jin. "Fuck off Jin, none of us know what the plan is. What kind of stupid fucking shit is 'for us to succeed'? and why Jimin?"
Jin walked over to Namjoon and sat beside him, placing a hand on his lower back. Namjoon looked at him, who grinned softly. Jin, the only person who made him feel like his world won't collapse around him. And that's how Yoongi must feel about Jimin.
Namjoon sighed, casting his eyes to the floor. "Alright, we'll wait a few days. Enough time for him to adjust to everything."

Yoongi prepared the bed for Jimin, putting on a fresh set of sheets. Jimin watched by the doorway, clutching at the extra pillow Jin had given him from their room. "You can sleep here."
"Where are you going to sleep?" Jimin said, quietly.
"The couch." Yoongi turned his back to him, feeling his face heat up. He busied himself, trying to pull the sheet over the bed. Jimin didn't need to know that Yoongi had slept in the same bed with him from the beginning, and he definitely didn't need to know that Yoongi would watch him sleep. It would freak him out. Jimin was still uneasy around him.
"Ok." Jimin walked over quietly on the other side of the bed, sitting down on the edge.
"Goodnight then," Yoongi walked to the door, awkwardly looking back at Jimin. "I'll leave the door open, just in case,"
"Just in case of what?"
"Ghosts."
"What?" Jimin squeaked.
Yoongi giggled, "Goodnight, Jiminie."
"Jimin."
"Jimin," Yoongi mumbled, tight-lipped. Yoongi left the door halfway open and walked to the kitchen. He grabbed the now cold tea he had to leave for a while and finished it. He closed his eyes, pinching the bridge of his nose and sighed heavily. This was the second night he slept on the couch, and he hated that he needed to.
The clock read 2 am when a yell startled him from his slumber. He woke up, groaning loudly at the crank of his neck, and shot up. He heard the stumble of Jin and Namjoon wake up and open their door.
Yoongi held up his hand, stopping the taller boys, telling them that he'll go in alone. He walked into Jimin's room and found him curled against the corner of the room. "Jimin," He coaxed softly. "I'm right here."
Jimin whimpered, shaking.
"Leave me alone" Jimin grumbled.
And Yoongi did. He waved Jin and Namjoon away as they peeked out from their room. Yoongi sat back down on the couch, listening to Jimin's cries.
This went on for many nights.

"What helped me concentrate my powers was to meditate," Jin explained as he sat down cross-legged on the floor. He pushed the furniture against the walls so there was enough space for them to sit side by side. Jimin cocked a brow at the taller man, fidgeting with the hem of his shirt. Jin patted the floor beside him, gesturing him to sit. "Come on Jiminie,"
Jimin ignored the nickname, feeling a bit peeved that they – especially Yoongi – would call him that. His name was Jimin, they told him themselves and he would rather prefer they called him by that name.
He huffed out a reluctant breath and sat down beside Jin.
"Ok, now take in a big breath and let it go." Jin demonstrated by breathing in and breathing out slowly. "And close your eyes."
Jin closed his eyes which he didn't see when Jimin gave him a "are you serious?" look.
Jimin closed his eyes and did what he was told even if he didn't enjoy it. He sat there bored with his eyes closed for what felt like an eternity. He huffed out impatiently again and looked up at Jin who still had his eyes closed, with a relaxed expression. He began to hum and that was that for Jimin. Jin looked up at Jimin in surprise as he jumped up to his feet. "This is stupid!"
"No, it's not." Jin defended, albeit a little pouty that Jimin called it stupid for trying to help him. "You don't know what might happen if you can't control your powers in some situations, especially scary ones."
Jimin thought about Yoongi's scar where Jin had burned him. He began to wonder what would happen if he lost control. He thought about the incident with the plate and how it broke into shards when Jin and Namjoon had startled him.
He sat down, giving up on trying to fight it. Jimin closed his eyes, taking in a long breath, and didn't see that Jin grinned at the younger boy.
__
Yoongi cursed himself as he woke up from his unintentional sleep and ran to Jimin's room. Jimin was panicking on the bed, whipping the blanket and pillows across the room. Yoongi ducked down, saw that Jimin's eyes gleamed blue but nothing happened. He peaked up from the edge of the bed and Jimin was looking back at him.
"Why am I seeing these things?" Jimin cried, gripping onto his hair. "Fucking red eyes."
"That thing is called a host," Yoongi explained. "They are almost like us."
Jimin looked at him in disbelief, "Those things are not human."
Yoongi shrugged. "Joon will explain."
Yoongi froze, almost unsure of what to do when Jimin just about jumped in his arms, causing Yoongi to stumble back. He pulled him in his arms and squeezed him tightly. "The first couple of nights you'll get a few memories back, one or two," Yoongi whispered, pulling Jimin's head closely against his neck.
"So those are from my memories, those things with the red eyes."
Yoongi nodded, closing his eyes and holding Jimin closer to him, feeling the younger boy shake under his hold. "Those are memories," he confirmed reluctantly.
__
Jin was cooking in the kitchen whilst everyone was busy. Yoongi and Jimin were sitting in the living room, with a few of their possessions. Yoongi was hoping that it would trigger some of his memories of their past and their relationship. Namjoon had left that morning before the rest woke up.
He went to Felix.
When he walked through the doors of Felix's office, he felt the same chill down his spine every time he walked through those doors.
Felix was standing by the large window, the city down below looked like an ant colony trapped inside a glass container. Namjoon cleared his throat but Felix did not turn around and Namjoon waited for him. He looked down at the company logo on some of the random papers on the desk. Felix was a doctor and founder of the facility, although there was another person who represented as CEO to the public, Felix was the person behind the scenes. He was in charge of everything that went on. He was also in charge of Project Phoenix.
Namjoon did keep his promise, he waited a few days. "Jimin is awake."
Felix turned around slowly, his eyes gleamed red with dangerous excitement. "Good."
