Jimin felt stupid.

And ultimately he felt betrayed.

He believed he was going home to Yoongi. To Jin and Namjoon. He honestly thought he could trust Taehyung. How could he start to think that the boy was worth trusting? He glared at him in the corner of his eye. The smell of alcohol hadn't been obvious until they got into the car and Taehyung passed out within two minutes after they left.

Jimin watched the city grow smaller in the distance helplessly. Taehyung had the conscious decision to tell him to stay in the car before falling asleep. Jimin continued to watch the last of the lights until they were swallowed by the dark. His body bound inside the vehicle until the other boy woke and said he could leave.

It was a long night and a long morning. He didn't have a clock to keep track of the time and the driver refused to lower the partition, but hours went by before the other boy stirred awake. By now, Jimin was too exhausted to cry or even attack him. He had his head rested on his arm against the window, and he continued to stare out the window. "Did you sleep?" Taehyung asked, shifting upright in his seat. He brushed his hair back and Jimin shook his head. "Go-"

"Don't make me sleep," Jimin muttered.

"You're exhausted," Taehyung checked his watch. "There's still about an hour left."

Jimin ignored him, eyes lifelessly staring out the window. Taehyung sighed, regretfully if he was honest to himself. He quickly observed the purplish dark circles under his eyes. Jimin was forcing himself to stay awake, he had only a few hours of sleep before Taehyung had selfishly disturbed his slumber.

Taehyung reached up quickly toward the small of Jimin's neck, "go to sleep," and he carefully laid the boy's head on his lap. Jimin fell asleep instantly. Taehyung wasn't sure why, maybe it was because he was remembering his old friend, but he wanted to care for Jimin. Or maybe he just felt lonely.

He brushed the boy's hair softly, looking out the window as Jimin snored softly in his lap.

His phone beeped and he grabbed it from his pocket.

You did this without my permission, the text from Felix read. Taehyung's heart dropped and raced in panic. Another text appeared, when you bring him back he should be ready

"I made a lot of mistakes," Namjoon admitted, taking a long swing of the bottle of whiskey.

Yoongi nodded silently beside him. They were sitting on the front steps of their apartment building. He reached up and grabbed the paper bagged bottle and took a swing as well. He grimaced at the strong taste and then sucked a long drag of the cigarette. "That you have."

Namjoon didn't have anything to say to defend the boy's agreement. "I've been so stupid, fuck." He punched the building wall and the cement cracked underneath his knuckles.

"Don't break the building, Joon," Yoongi mumbled and took another drag.

Namjoon grabbed the bottle and gulped down another shot. "I'm supposed to walk in Felix's office and give him Hoseok. How could I do that to him?"

Yoongi wanted to be selfish and tell him just do it so that Jimin can come home. But what would happen to Hoseok even if Felix were to let Jimin leave? He would be a prisoner. Hoseok was wanted for being a traitor, he couldn't imagine what might happen to him.

As they sat in silence, Yoongi let himself think about his time at the facility. What they made him do, all the training and tests they did to him. It was a sensitive time and he had only been awake for a few weeks when Namjoon took him to the facility. That first night they injected him with the serum and the pain was excruciating, he was in and out of consciousness throughout the night. Taehyung had left him in his room until a nurse came to check on him the next morning. By then, he was too weak to move. But he felt different, something inside him changed and he felt his powers radiate inside his entire body.
