Draco woke up with the weight of a goddamn rock on him. He remembered last night and woke up Blaise, who grumbled and said(whined) "five minutes, Draco!" Draco got him off and picked up his wand, walked into the bathroom and started his daily routine. He tied his hair, with Pansy's hair tie, his hair had grown, and then started with a mild face wash. He brushed his teeth and today being Sunday, he opened the cabinet and pulled out a face mask and applied some using the applicator from the kit Pansy had given him when he turned seventeen. He finished counting five minutes and purposely put on the bright green mask, even though today was green mask day. He walked outside and pointed his wand towards Blaise and bellowed "Aguamenti!" Blaise began sputtering and immediately and then shrieked when he saw Draco standing over him with a bright green face and fell off the bed. Draco laughed in his face and Blaise said to him "fuck you, you piece of shit!" Draco held up his hands in surrender and said "you said five minutes and I gave you five extra minutes, now go brush your teeth," Blaise got off the floor and walked towards the bathroom and muttered "yes mom..." in Draco's direction.

Draco rolled his eyes and went back in to finish his routine and waited for Blaise in the Common Room, with Pansy who was picking her nails and ranting about her roommate, Millicent Bulstrode. Draco was listening and then Blaise strutted down the stairs and Pansy said "about time," and Draco nodded shortly in agreement and Blaise looked at her and muttered "bitch." Pansy nastily smirked and said "the one and only, baby!" Draco snorted and said "true," Pansy smacked his armed and he smacked her back and soon they were in a small who can hit harder and Pansy won when she ruffled his hair. Draco gasped loudly and said "you bitch!" and then he chased her around the Common Room, until Blaise used some complex charms that Harry taught them in the DA to freeze the two of them in their places and said "okay! I would like some breakfast right about now and I'm scared to go alone, so the two of you will put your shit aside and take me to breakfast and after we're back, you can chase each other all you want, okay...?" Draco nodded and so did Pansy and he undid the charms and they went to breakfast. When they reached there, they subtly nodded towards Neville, Ginny and Luna and Draco nodded at Seamus, because the two of them bonded about their boyfriends being on the run, Draco told him without telling Harry because he knew that Seamus and Harry were close enough and kinda friends even though it took him some time to recognize Seamus every day.

They made their way back to the Common Room, but left Blaise there, because Prefects and Head Boy/Girl meetings happened every Sunday, unfortunately. The meeting today was simple. No Hogsmeade weekend for some students and to prevent them by Cruciartus Curse if they tried to sneak out. Gross, thought Draco as though he'd found underwear on his favorite couch. He saw Neville, someone who wasn't allowed to go and gave him a shot of pre-prepared Polyjuice, a potion he made in the start of the year. He put his hair in and said "have fun, take some when you're coming back, the Death Eaters outside don't know about who can't go to Hogsmeade, have fun," Neville smiled gratefully and left. Draco went into the RoR and spent some time with Seamus. They were talking about how the DA would defy the Carrows with close to none punishment when Draco heard a small "Dray?" he held up a finger to pause his conversation with Seamus and said "yello?" he heard Harry snort and said "are you okay?" he scowled and said "fuck you! I've been spending too long with your Gryffindor mates, okay?" 

Harry snickered and said "we don't say yello, so... I think you learned that somewhere else- anyway are you alone?" Draco looked at Seamus and then back at the ring after snorting at Seamus' flabbergasted face and said "no, Seamus is here, why?" "I needed to talk to you, but Seamus is okay-" Seamus intervened here and said "if this is going to be about sex- yes Harry I know about you two, Draco told me-(he said when Harry gasped)- then I don't want to be a part of this, capishe?" Harry said "not everything people talk about at seventeen is sex, grow up and no, it's about good ol' Snape-y," Neville came in and said "don't know about the good part I'm sure the old part is particularly accurate," as he sat next to Draco, while patting Seamus' back.

 Draco practically heard Harry's entire mood light up as he said"Neville! Oh it's so good to hear from you!" and then he began giggling again, thinking about the Carrow incident.Draco filled him in about the giggle fits and Neville chuckled and turned redwith embarrassment. Such a modest soul, thought Draco. Harry stoppedgiggling and Draco said "what about Snape?" Harry replied "I think he knowswhere the Sword of Gryffindor is," Neville and Draco gasped and said Draco said"it's in his office! It's in a glass case, in all its glory," Neville startednodding and added to that and said "yeah! Ginny, Luns and I want to steal it,"Draco's and Seamus' eyes and they said "are you nutsy-cookoo?!" Harryinterjected and he said "hey, Nev? Just tell me if Dray has a fever, no?"Neville being the bean he is actually went to feel Draco's hand. Draco swattedhis hand away in annoyance and said "I'm fine!" Harry replied "jeez,sorry, it's just that your vocabulary is- as you put it- nutsy cookoo!" Dracodid his famous eye-roll and said "oh shut it!" as Neville and Seamus snickered with Harry on the other side.

Harry controlled himself and said "hey, November's coming," Draco smiledand said "yeah" Seamus asked "what's November?" Neville replied to him "it's amonth, normally before December and after October, oh! Its also the eleventhmonth, and-" Draco cut him off right there and said "November is ouranniversary," Neville whispered to him and said "thanks, he looked like he was goingto kill me" Harry chuckled and said "anyway, I hope to see you guys soon, also,Nev? I have new respect for you after the Carrow incident," Neville turned redagain and said "thanks, Draco told me," Neville and Seamus went back to thepeople as they were moving to Aberforth's for dinner. Draco met Pansy outsidewith Blaise, who looked like he'd just had the shopping spree of his life. The thingfor the three of them was that they had to find joy in the little things here;it was extremely gloomy without their partners and best friends. They went tothe Great Hall which was now permanently just Slytherins and the teachers andsome students from other houses who according to Draco were too chicken to sidewith Neville and Harry. He sat with Blaise and Pansy opposite Astoria and Theowho he was happy for about the fact that neither had to go on the run, leavingthe other alone. 

Both, Astoria and Theo supported Harry and some other Slytherins were just allies, and had Death Eater parents who had controlled them too much for their liking. They started talking about the war and now basically, even though it was a week down, the Carrow incident was still fresh on everyone's mind. They finished dinner and Astoria and Theo decided to run away to the Astronomy Tower, one place which haunted Draco and had amazing memories. He didn't want to think about either memory, the good nor the bad. The good made him miss Harry too much and the bad- he just couldn't deal with it.

He and Blaise went back to their rooms in the linear formation, which was often broken by Neville or someone brave enough to defy them, something Draco knew he could never do. He and Blaise fell asleep in less than ten minutes(how does he do it, folks?), with the looming pressure of the upcoming, unavoidable war. That, and the topic of the potential death of their best friend or partner. With extreme unease, that lasted ten minutes, they fell asleep.

a/n: i'm officially incapable of eating peaches. i started giggling when my mum cut a peach today and offered me a piece because i remembered the gayness of timothee chalamet in 'call me by your name' in the peach scene. oh, fml.
