The next morning, Harry walked into the kitchen and heard Aunt Petunia talking about their new dentists to Aunt Marge on the phone. "Ah, yes their names are Mr. and Mrs. Granger and their really amazing people, and they seem perfectly normal too." When Dudley and Harry heard this, they snorted which Dudley covered as a fart. After Aunt Petunia was done with her call, Dudley said "mom, I want to go to the dentist, I've been having a bit of toothache." Aunt Petunia shrieked at this because Dudley has a toothache and so the world is going to end. He waited for the overreacting to get over and said "I want him to come too," she shot a horrifying look at Harry and said "okay" because no one says no to Dudley.
When they reached there, Dudley insisted that only Harry come in with him,while he has his toothache checked. After they were done with him, they turnedto Harry and said "do you to get your teeth checked too?" Harrysmiled and said "no thank you, but I was hoping if you could call Hermionedown?" The Grangers house and clinic were in the same place, the clinicwas down, while the house was above it. "How do you know Hermione?"Harry simply said "I don't know if she told you this, but I'm HarryPo-" he didn't need to finish that sentence. Mrs. Granger had alreadyreached for the phone and said "Hermione, love, do you mind coming downfor a moment?"
After some time, Hermione came down with her nose buried in a book, which thoroughly impressed Dudley. She looked at Harry and launched at him, engulfing him in a hug. When she was hugging him, she whispered to him "Harry, what the fuck are you doing here?" Harry told her "I'll tell you at Hogwarts" she understood that he didn't want to say anything in front of her parents and said "okay." She looked at Dudley and smiled at him. They spoke for about 10 minutes until Hermione's parents said "you best be going, you're parents must be getting worried" they agreed and left. When they returned home, they had their usual routine of candy and late night talks.
