vii. Christmas

Harry and Draco woke up in each others arms. First, they didnt

remember where they were, but then memories came flooding back to them. "Morning, love" mumbled Draco. Harry blushed at the use of "love" but replied "morning". Draco pulled him in for a soft, slow kiss until Harry pulled away and realised that they had to be at breakfast. They rushed to the castle under the Cloak and headed upto their common rooms. Luckily Ron had already reached there, and was fast asleep. Dean and Seamus were snuggling on their bed, they joined their beds since everyone in their dorm knew. Neville was lightly snoring. Harry snuck in and went to take a shower. By the time he was out, Ron had woken up and so had Deamus.

Ron knew exactly what happened and didn't say anything yet, while Dean and Seamus couldn't stop asking him about it. Harry lost his mind and said "I was just out, okay? So drop it, won't you?" They let out a frustrated sigh and went out. Neville left for breakfast because he didn't want to get into Harry's love life. When Ron and Harry were alone, Ron finally asked "so... What happened?" Harry smiled and said "we danced and then he dropped me... like literally dropped me and fell on top and then we spoke for hours and we fell asleep. What about you?" Ron blushed and said "we danced too, until the music died and then, we sat by a tree and he said I looked hot" Harry snorted and Ron whipped up his middle finger "and then we came in at 4." Harry let out a low wolf whistle and then they went for breakfast, Ron and Hermione didn't fight because they didn't want to repeat what happened for the first task.

 Harry looked over at Draco who looked at him and mouthed "Shrieking Shack, tonight 1?" Harry nodded yes. They smiled and Hermione nudged him so that no one would know that sworn enemies smiled at each other. They saw Ron blushing while looking at Blaise and Harry made a snap decision and banged his hand real loud on the table. Ron got so startled and so did many others that Harry couldn't control his laughter. They exchanged presents and continued their day normally. 

*time skip cause I'm lazy AF*

Harry made his way down to the Entrance Hall under his Cloak and hugged Draco fromthe back. Draco tensed up at first but then turned and pulled off Harry's Cloakand kissed him. "Hello, love" said Draco and that madeHarry blush like a little school child. Draco laughed at that and intertwinedhis fingers into Harry's and led him towards the Whomping Willow.They made their way into the Shack and took their normal places until Dracosaid, "let's explore this place, huh?" Harry smiled at him andgot up "I don't mind" Draco got up and they made their waythrough until Draco gasped which made Harry reach for his wand.

Draco laughed at Harry which made him smile. He put down his wand and looked at a bloody old piano and raised an eyebrow. Draco said "I might look like a useless, hot piece of ass, but I can play an instrument when someone's pointing a wand to my neck" "who said you were useless and which utter bastard said you had a hot piece of ass?" Said Harry removing his wand from his pocket. Draco smirked and said "jealous, Potter?" "You wish." Harry pulled Draco in and kissed him softly until Draco pulled away and said "I'm going to play something" Harry agreed like a little puppy and sat next to the piano while Draco started playing something so melodious that it made all other music sound like a toddler playing an untuned violin.

While he played, with perfect posture and his fingers gliding across the piano's keys, Harry looked at him in awe and almost teared up with joy. Draco finished playing and looked at Harry, who was smiling so brightly that his cheeks were hurting. They decided to go back to their normal place where Draco laid on a mattress and Harry laid on him. When they were there they exchanged their presents. Harry bought Draco a huge assortment of sweets, while Draco bought Harry an anklet which had a tiny star with a 'D' engraved on it. Draco's present made Harry feel like a chump until Harry saw the look on Draco's face when he opened Harry's present. He looked like an adorable eight year old who just got his first broom. 

Harry made a snap decision and blurted out "Draco, there's somethingwe need to talk about." Draco looked genuinely scared and visibly gulpedbefore saying "mmhm?" Harry smirked and said "you know2 months ago when I came out to you at the Astronomy Tower? My life totallychanged when I kissed your cheek that night, and I just wanted to sayiloveyou." Draco leaned forward and whispered in Harry'sear "you scared me so much right now, you asshole, but... I wasthinking..." He looked at Harry dead in the before brushing Harry's hairaway and looking him dead in the eye, which scared Harry so much andsaid "I was thinking about how much I love you too." Harry'sface dropped and said he practically yelled "you bloody git, who doesthat?" Then he leaned forward and planted a very, very deep kiss on Draco'slips before moving and kissing Draco right under his ear. Draco tugged on Harry'shair and pulled him closer while Harry kissed his way down to Draco's jaw andthen his neck. It didn't take long for Harry to find Draco's sweet spot which Harryobviously marked. It was right above above his right collar bone. 

Harry pulled away and Draco scoffed and said "I'm going to haveto wear turtlenecks for some time now." to which Harryreplied "I think you'll look rather hot in turtlenecks," Dracoblushed so much that he would just blend with Ron'shair. Harry kissed him again and then they made their way back to the castle.After Harry dropped him in the Entrance Hall, he made his way back to theportrait and found Ron standing there. "Ron?" Ron snapped hisneck by looking behind. He was visibly relieved when he saw it was Harry. Itwas 3 in the morning, so they waited ten minutes before the Fat Lady could comeback. They stood in silence (the comfortable kind), until she came back.Luckily, she didn't scold them.

They made their way to their dorm and found Dean and Seamus having a very heated snog session. Ron cleared his throat, in a very McGonagall manner and they jumped apart. Seamus muttered under his breath "cockblock". Ron snorted and they both went to sleep. Everyone was happy.
