lxiii. the wedding

*timeskip to three years later November, 2nd*

Harry was in his hotel room, in a white tux and the Charmed Lily he got from Draco in his hair, next to Ron, his best man, and Pansy, his best woman. He wanted to sneak out and meet Draco ten minutes before they'd be getting married and maybe snog him as a stress reliever, but Pansy promised him that he'd hex him if he even tried to get out of the room before 'Wedding Time™'. He was now the head of the DMLE, but he promised himself that the second his children were born, he'd quit his job. Ron helped him adjust his bow-tie and said "don't worry mate, I was feeling the same when Blaise and I got married and now look where we are, The Weasley-Zabinis!" Ron finished his speech and then did a small jazz hands. Harry smiled and Pansy said "yeah, it's completely normal, but once you walk down the aisle, and see him, your logic flies out the window and everything you've prepared fizzles out. That's what happened to me, at least," Ron rolled his eyes and said "yeah right, Mrs. Granger-Parkinson," Pansy punched his shoulder and said "it's true,"

Harry was getting helped, but their constant bickering was so annoying. "OI!" they looked at him and he said "I'm kinda freaking out here, so save it till after the wedding, capisce?" "capisce," they said dejectedly and in sync. He took a deep breath and the alarm rang and Sirius walked in and said "come on Bambi, it's time," Harry nodded as the four made their way out. Harry walked towards the Hall, where they'd be getting married. He took out the Resurrection Stone from his pocket and twirled it thrice, making his parents and Regulus visible. They stood at the corner and Draco and Narcissa walked down the aisle. She bade him with a kiss on the forehead and tears of pride in her eyes. Next, came Teddy scattering flowers, lily petals to be exact, around the aisle. He was wearing a blue tuxedo and his hair was graced with a flower crown of lilies and baby's breaths. Ron and Blaise walked in next, hand in hand, and just for shit and entertainment's sake, Ron waved to no one in general making everyone laugh.

Hermione and Pansy walked in next, in a much more dignified sense with their powder blue dressed making them look like goddesses. Remus was already there, considering he was marrying them and the Dursleys, minus Vernon who had died the year prior to a sudden wave of last stage leukemia. Harry went for the funeral with Draco and paid his respects no matter how much of a living hell Vernon made his life. Sirius took his hand and said "ready?" Harry nodded and said "I guess," he walked down the aisle and finally understood what Pansy meant. He and Draco had secretly practised their vows. He forgot everything and as expected all logic flew out of the window.

He reached the front and Sirius said "I'm very proud of you, Har-Bear," and he kissed his forehead and hugged and sat with Narcissa and close people. He wiped off his tears as Remus started "dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the union of Harry Potter and Draco Black, my son and soon-to-be-son-in-law," he paused and said "I've practised this, but I can't remember shit, so I'll just say the first thing that comes to my mind," everyone chuckled and he continued "I have never known a couple as close as Draco and Harry, and believe me, I've known a lot of close couples, but never have I seen a couple that melt together as beautifully as these two," Harry 'aw'ed and Remus chuckled and continued "right, the vows?"

Draco went first. "Harry James Potter-Evans-Lupin-Black, that's a long name, never thought how long it was- anyway, you have been such a huge part of my life even before we started dating, I had no one to pick on other than you, 'Mione and Ron, but picking on you was the best because your sass always slayed me and made me implode on the inside, I started crushing on you in second year and it took me half the year to realise when Pansy whacked me on the head and yelled at me for twenty minutes because I was being oblivious, thank Merlin I listen to her," Harry giggled and Draco smiled at him and continued anyway, that night at the Astronomy Tower was everything to me, that kiss which lasted exactly twenty seconds, not that I counted or anything, but still, every year on November 2nd something big happened, out of which some things are not very kid friendly, so... to move forward, Harry. I promise that I will love you for eternity and more, I will kiss you on the back of your neck to hear that giggle of your, I will call you 'love' on purpose, only to see that blush of yours," he wiped of his tears and said "I will help you when you need it, kiss you to see you smile, I'll even dye my hair red to see you smile," he wiped off Harry's tears now and said "I will always be there to make you laugh, and I will always kick myself in the arse if I hurt you or made you cry, and I can't believe that I Draco Lucius Black found my soulmate and was lucky enough for him to be you," Harry wiped off the remainder of his tears and said "I should not have let you go first, damn!" everyone laughed as Harry silently cursed himself.

Harry looked Draco dead in the eye and said "Draco Black, how does one describe Draco Black? People say he's blond git and he's completely heartless and an utter dunderhead, on some levels I agree with the blond-git part, but I'd have to disagree with everyone for two reasons. One being they're completely wrong, the second being I don't intend to sleep on the couch on our wedding night," everyone including Draco laughed and Harry continued "I describe Draco Black as beautiful, smart, generous, wise, calm, unless we're getting late for a Ministry Ball or we're planning a wedding, good-in-bed, yeah, he can sleep like a log, and charismatic, a very good kisser, and my soulmate," he looked at Draco after finishing his speech part of his vows and said "you, Draco Black are my soulmate and if I had to restart life, I wouldn't change anything other than asking you out the second I acknowledged my feelings for you," he nodded as though he was done and Remus said "do you Draco Black take Harry Potter to be your lawfully wedded husband," "I do," Remus said "of course, you do, or I'd kick your ass, and do you Harry Potter take Draco Black to be your husband?" Harry smiled and said "yuh-huh," Remus raised an eyebrow and Harry serioused up and said "I do," Remus smiled and said "the rings" and little Victoire Weasley walked forward with the rings in her hand.

Harry put his ring on Draco's finger and Draco put the ring and intertwined his hand and kissed his fingers. "I now pronounce you Mr. and Mr. Potter. You may now kiss the husband," said Remus and Draco wasted no time in swooping Harry in a kiss completely ignoring Teddy's and Victoire's 'eww'ing. They pulled away and walked back through the aisle as the boys, now men who loved...

a/n: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. this is the last chapter, but there will be an epilogue. my finals will start and after that i will start a new book. yayyyyyyyyyy!
