Its been about a week and a half since I broke the bet. He stopped making me pay for it which was nice because I was starting to get tired from him pounding me senseless. We went back to our old ways, breakfast every morning, cuddles, sharing a bed, nothing physical. But he tried to get away with every little thing he could.

He would grab my waist pushing me closer to him, brushing our noses together. He would whisper dirty things in my ears and then walk away as if I didn't happen, leaving me breathless. I couldn't tease him anymore, he would tease me backing making me crave his touch.

This morning he picked me up and out of bed, he wrapped my legs around his waist and rested my head on his shoulder around 6 which was way too early for the both of us. I was half asleep when he decided to pick me up, I groaned as he manually set my head on his shoulder.

"Where are we going." I said in a sleepy voice.

We had slept in the bedroom he stayed in while the bet was on, so naturally none of my clothes were in there and theh were all in Damon's room. He walked to that room and put some of my clothes in a bag along with his clothes.

"You'll see, Angel." He whispered.

"Just make sure you grab enough bourbon." I said as I closed my eyes and let him carry me wherever he needed.

An hour later I woke up in a truck, it was an older truck and didn't look as nice as the ones I've seen. I opened my eyes and I had been laying down on Kais lap as he drove. I rubbed my eye drawing attention to myself and he looked down at me.

"Well look at that, miss sleepy head up from her nap!" He said with a chuckle, I sat up and we were speeding down a road. Which seemed like it would be quite busy if people had been here with us.

"Can you tell me where we are going now?" I said moving out of his lap and I reached over and buckled him up, I was the immortal one after all. He looked at me and unbuckled his seat belt and I rolled my eyes.

"Only time shall tell, Angel."

"May I ask, why must you call me Angel?"

"Because you are an Angel, you are bright and beautiful. When I look at you, it brings happiness into my life, just as an Angel would. You seem like you protect the ones you love under complete danger and stress, and so that is why I gifted you with such a beautiful name just as yourself, Angel." I was surprised, why was he noticing all of these things about me? I am not an angel.

"Well as sweet as you are, Kai. I am no angel. I may be beautiful and I may protect the ones I care for way to much, but that doesn't make me an angel. I am a monster, Kai, and we both know it too." I said keeping my eyes on the road, someone needed to watch where they were going.

"You are no monster, Angel. You've made mistakes just as I, I just do not regret mine."

"And that's what makes us so alike, I loved what I did to those people and if I had a choice I would've kept doing it to more. You bring out the good in me, Kai. And I hate it. I never let anyone see the good in me except my brothers."

"Why?" He kept his eyes on me and I finally felt the need to look at him.

"Because when people see good they expect good, and I didnt wanna have to live up to anyone's expectations." I somehow tore my eyes away from his while he kept looking at me, giving me a sad rush of feelings.

"Eyes on the road, Kai. I may be immortal but you are not, and I'd like it if you stuck around a tad longer. It's been nice to have company, because my misery loves you." He looked back at the road and turned on the music, I looked at him and he smiled as he rolled down all the windows, then blasted the music so we could hear it over the air circulation in the car as he slammed his foor on the gas.
