A New Face (KAI PARKER AND READER)

Free at Last

We got to the end of the drive and I stopped.

"Whyd you stop?" He asked.

"Because I dont know where to go."

"Well just go to the grill and we can both eat there."

"Good idea." I said with an exhale.

We ran there and a blonde with curly hair stood behind the bar. She looked too nice to feed on. Kai grabbed my hand and he guided me to the bar and we sat down. There was no one else here though, so she'd have to do.

"What can I get for you?" The girl asked, as she walked over she threw a black towel over her shirt.

"Ah! Drinks, definitely drinks. The lady will take a bourbon and I will... hmmm vodka is boring, rums to tropical... ooooh tequila you do not want to see me on tequila. What about gin? Is that weird?" He was rambling to the lady.

"Not if your a 50 year old. But seeing as you both look 19 I'm gonna need some ID."

"Oh! Of course." He said pulling out something in his wallet. He handed it to her with a smile.

"1972, nice try." She said smiling sarcastically and giving Kai back the card he handed her.

"True story, but that's not the most interesting thing on that ID. Here look again." He said handing it back to her, she hesitated to take it but did.

"Name, address..."

"Malachai Parker- " Just then her threw his hand over the counter at her and he siphoned her magic. I leaned back and chuckled.

"You know this girl?" I asked him.

"Yup. Shes my sister. The twin I never got to kill."

"Last time I saw you, I was trying to kill you. Let's pick up where we left off, shall we?" He chuckled and she picked something up and stabbed him, making him lose her grip on him. She started running for the door and he blocked it with his magic.

"Should I do anything?" He shook his head.

"Not yet."

She ran up the stairs and he followed her, while doing so he was rambling on about how there father got rid of any trace of him.

"Stay the hell away from me!" She screamed, I stood up so I could see what was happening. She had moved chairs with her magic to block him.

"Always were bad at hide and seek. I mean, you were 4. You cant find a better hiding spot?"

He moved the chairs and started walking towards her. Then a man appeared and pushed him over the ledge.

"Kai!" I screamed. I ran for him and he was still breathing. I ran upstairs and pinned the guy on the floor.

I flashed him my fangs and my veins trickled down to my neck.

"I'll kill you right here right now buddy, shes a dead man when Kai gets back up here. Theres no one around to stop me." I hissed and just as I was about to feed someone yelled my name.

"Y/n!! Stop! You cant feed from him." Damkn screamed.

"Oh come on brother! You ruin all the fun."

"Brother?" The guy said.

"Yup. I'm Y/n Salvatore. Would've been great lunch if he didnt ruin it for me." I reached my hand out towards his for a shake. He foolishly took my hand, I twisted it around towards his. Ack slightly pushing up enough that if he were to try and escape it would break.

"Y/n! Let Tyler go!" Elena said.

I walked over to where 'Tyler' pushed Kai and made him stand on the ledge.
