(Billie's POV)
"Yes darling I'm on the way right now. Yes I'll look at his room baby. Okay I love you too angel now I gotta go before I crash. Okay I love you too baby."

I put my phone in the cup holder, smiling to myself. Today is Aleah's birthday and I was lucky enough to get a few days off to come home.

I had already been home for two days, but Aleah refused to let me see the baby's room yet much to my dismay, though she said it wasn't all the way done which I knew was just a distraction. But whatever she wants she'll get.

On the way there I stopped at the store to get her a few little gifts. I even got a few things for our little baby bean.

When I pulled up the house I could see Aleah looking out the window which made me smile. I didn't want her walking down the stairs so I hurriedly got the two bags and got out of the car.

I got inside the house immediately dropping my bags as she came up to me, throwing her arms around my neck.

"Ohh happy birthday angel! Look at you in your little overalls, you look so pretty." I backed away a bit to look at her.

"Thank you baby, Claudia bought me a bunch of clothes for my birthday."

"Yes cause your wife here refuses to buy any kind of maternity clothes so I bought them for her!" I looked over her shoulder to find Claudia peeking her head out from the kitchen.

"Well I have like a thousand oversized shirts I could just wear those! There's no need to buy them if I don't need them! And I'm at like the end of my pregnancy I won't even need them in a few months." She went to sit on the couch as I got her gifts, sitting beside her.

"What are these baby?" She asked.

"Just a few little gifts I got you for your birthday; and a few things for Leo too. I know I didn't have to but I really wanted to." I said stopping what she was about to say.

I got her some candles and some new perfumes and for our baby I got him two onsies. One saying "little bean" and the other saying "mama's little man" Aleah of course loved them both.

After she opened both the gifts she took me, well more like I took her upstairs so she could show me the baby's room. As soon as I walked in I automatically loved it. I lightly ran my fingertips over the crib. Thinking about how in a few short weeks our little boy will be sleeping here.

"Do you like it?" She asked shyly. Her hands holding her belly.

"Mama I love it. It's beautiful. You did a really good job baby." I walked up to her as I slung my arms around her lower back, her head fell to my chest.

We stood in Leo's room for a while, not saying anything just holding each other. After a few moments she speaks up.

"You ever think about having a flower patch in our backyard?" She asked curiously.

"I can't say that I have. Do you even know how to garden?"

"Yeah my grams taught me when I was a little kid."

"Well what kind of flowers would you put in it?" I gently took her arm, beginning to walk her back down the stairs.

"Umm maybe roses, some lilies, oh Dahlias and tulips baby! Tulips would look so pretty!" She exclaimed. Jumping a tad almost making her fall.

"Darling please be careful. I don't want you to get hurt." My tone was a bit stern but still soft, my arm going around her waist to hold her steady.
