Everything We Wanted

I woke up to an empty bed and Billie talking downstairs. She was probably on the phone with her managers.

I couldn't quite understand what she was saying but I could tell she was arguing. I quietly opened our bedroom door a smidge.

"Okay I understand that but we can't do a year. Because if you haven't been told Aleah's pregnant now....yeah yeah thanks so there's no way we can do a year long tour and especially not a world wide tour. Not for a while actually...yeah I think we could do that...Yeah alright I'll bring her. See you soon." I heard her blow out a breath and then things went silent.

I walked downstairs to find her with her head in her hands.

"Bil?" I said quietly. She turned her head at the sound of my voice.

"Hey mama, I didn't know you were awake. How did you sleep?" She asked. Obviously trying to avoid the subject at hand.

"Who were you on the phone with?"

She sighed, bringing me over to the couch.

"My managers wanted me to do a world wide tour obviously I said no cause we have a baby on the way. Then they suggested around the country tour and they want you to come in and discuss how we would do it because you're coming with me this time."

"I..I am?" I asked confused.

"Well yeah I'm not gonna leave you here again. I told you after that last one I wasn't leaving your side and I meant it." She said. Her tone softening.

"Okay." Was all I said. Leaving Billie shocked.

"O-okay?"
I nodded my head, trying my best not to freak out. I mean I should've seen this coming.

I got dressed and we headed out to interscope.

Trying my best not to let my worries show I greeted everyone on Billies team as always. Though meetings like these always made me extremely anxious.

"Alright let's get this started. Billie I know you said you needed to bring Aleah along with you on this tour, but with her being pregnant we see how this could be difficult. Bil what exactly did you have planned." Mike one of her managers spoke. 

"Well um firstly I was thinking we end the tour in LA that way we can be close to home at the end of her pregnancy. Leah can travel up until 8 months so we can come home then and finish it out in LA, is that good with you mama?"

Turning her attention to me she placed a hand on top of mine. I nodded my head. Not trusting my voice knowing it would be far too shaky.

"Alright but uhh what about doctor's appointments? How is that gonna work?" He asked.

Billie went quiet. She hadn't thought that part out. I tried to think of something. I know how much she needs me to come with her on this tour.

"Um I really only need monthly check ups and those can be done over the phone. Then uhh around 4 or 5 months we can fly out my doctor to finish it out or something." My voice still came out a little more shaky than I thought.

"Alright! Is that good with everyone else?"

Scattered replies filled the room. After that they talked about things that I wasn't really listening to. I ended up zoning out the rest of the meeting.

(Billie's POV)
"Okay well then it's settled. We leave next month. See you all then, don't forget to call if you have any concerns."

I looked over at Aleah to find her spaced out. I snapped my fingers in front of her face. She closed her eyes tightly before opening them and looking around the room.
