(Billies POV)
I was having my last show in my LA. Singing my heart out onstage with my girlfriend in the crowd. But what she didn't know was I had a very big thing planned for her.
The whole time I was performing, all I could look at was her. She looked so beautiful, as she always does. I was nervous as shit for what I was going to do and I'm sure everyone could tell. At the end of the show before I performed my last song I turned to the crowd.
"Okay, umm wow this is insane. Never in a million years did I think I'd be up here. Umm I wanna thank a few people for helping me get this far. First I wanna thank my big brother Finneas, y'all know him he is my best friend in the entire world, I wanna thank my drummer Andrew and my entire crew, thank you guys for putting up with my annoying ass all these years. And I wanna thank all of you guys for supporting me and loving me and my music I honestly don't know how the FUCK you guys like me. Anyway, last but certainly not least I wanna thank a very special someone who's been with me for a very, very long time. They are my entire world and I love them with everything I have in me and they are here today in the crowd."
I looked at Aleah as her eyes widened.
"Okay so I feel like most of you have seen this coming but I'd like to welcome to the stage my beautiful and amazing girlfriend, Aleah!"
Everyone started screaming like fucking bloody murder as they cheered.
(Aleah's POV)
Oh my god. I couldn't believe my ears, did she actually just say that? Am I dreaming? I stood there for a second trying to process everything before she looked at me and smiled.
"Get your ass up here baby!" Billie shouted at me. So I went up to the stage and I was honestly a little shy and scared.
"Say hi baby," she told me. I said hi into the mic, giggling nervously a bit and everyone screamed. Bil looked at me and gave me a warm smile before she turned her attention back to the crowd.
"So! this is my girlfriend y'all and I love her more than anything." When she said that I smiled brightly, she just told pretty much the whole world that she likes girls AND that's she's dating one.
"And I wanna dedicate this next song to her so if everyone could please turn on their flashlights and put them up, please." She took my hand and led us to the bed that she sits on when she sings "i love you."
During the chorus she would always look at me and it felt like she was only singing to me and nobody else.
"maybe won't you take it back
say you were trying to make me laugh
and nothing has to change today
you didn't mean to say "I love you",
I love youuu, and I don't want too"
At the end of the song she took me off the bed and brought me to the middle of the stage, her hands being super sweaty.
(Billies POV)
I can't believe I'm about to do this I thought to myself.
"Billie what are you doing?" Aleah asked.
"I know this must be a little overwhelming for you baby but I'm really happy you're with me and I honestly don't know what I'd do without you mama. You are my happiness and my world and I love you to the ends of the earth. So with saying that," I took a deep breath in and got down on one knee "Aleah, will you marry me?" She put her hands over her mouth as tears started to well up in her eyes.
(Aleah's POV)
I was frozen in shock. I couldn't move so I just looked at her for a couple seconds with tears in my eyes. Billie smiled at me and said
"Baby, this floor kinda hurts so if you could give me a yes that'd be great."
I sniffled,"Sorry, yes baby! Yes! Yes! Oh my god yes!" I squealed with joy.
"FUCK YEAHHHH SHE SAID YES!!!" She picked me up and spinned me around with the biggest smile on her face, she put me down and gave me one of the most loving kisses she's ever given me.
The crowd started screaming and clapping and congratulating us. After we pulled away I looked at Billie with a smile on my face. "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you baby, always and forever"
(Billies POV)
I smiled at those words Always and forever
"Me either mama, always and forever."
I sighed, "I'm sorry I don't have a ring for you yet mama, I'm working on it."
She shook her head at my words
"No this, this is perfect baby, I don't even need a ring." Which made me smile and give her a quick peck.
"Go wait for me in the green room angel, I'll be there in a minute."
Once I made sure she was backstage I turned my attention back to the crowd
"Okayyy, WOW! Umm thank you guys so much for coming out here tonight I love you all so so much and please remember that it's okay to love whoever you love! It's alright and never be ashamed of it."
I hugged myself like I do at the end of every performance and blew the crowd a kiss. I ran offstage and back to the green room to find Leah, when I found her I gave her a huge hug.
"Thank you mama, I love you so fucking much, angel." I said her as I stuffed my face in the crook of her neck. A few tears escaping.
"I love you too." She says as she rubbed my back. What she didn't know was that I had one more surprise waiting for her.
"Okay, now i know I said I didn't have a ring but psych bitch, I actually do." I pulled out a diamond ring her eyes went wide.
"Billie, how expensive was this I can't take this." She doesn't like when I spend a lot of money on her but I don't mind.
"Doesn't matter how much it was, you're gonna wear it." I told her as I slid the ring on her finger. "There, now you're officially my fiancé" which made her smile super big.
"I could get used to hearing that." We shared a passionate kiss and just stood there for a while, not talking just enjoying each other's embrace.
(Aleah's POV)
I still can't believe it. She announced to the world she likes girls, announced me as her girlfriend then proposed right after, this girl is insane. I let out a small accidental laugh which made Billie perk up a bit.
"Whatchu laughin at mama?" She asked me with a giggle.
"Nothing baby, you just amaze me sometimes. I can't wait to be your wife." This made her smile wide and repeat my previous words.
"I could get used to hearing that." I hummed in response and layed my head into her shoulder and swayed us back and forth.
"I love you Billie, so much."
"I love you too angel, more than you know."
