The lights on the stage all turned on

And mr reed walked onto the stage

" hello students, this is your end of year carnival and I hope you enjoy it! We have a very special act for you guys our very own students who have their own band called 5 seconds of summer! Enjoy your night boys and girls" mr reed spoke into the mic

The computerised voice started counting down

Ashton went out on stage first he picked up his drum sticks and held them in the air

The whole student body started screaming loudly and we took that as our que me Michael and Calum ran out with our electric guitars, in Calum's case bass

We all stood in front of our mic's then Ashton's deep voice boomed through the audience

"Hello everybody we are 5 seconds of summer" he said loudly he voice tracking far

He then did a drum roll before counting us in with the first song

She's dropping out of school 'cause she don't need the grades,
The colors in her hair don't seem to fade,
I get dressed up when I go out, but she gets dressed down
She's 17 I've told her I'm 20,
I couldn't take her out 'cause Mum's got no money,
It's stuff like this that makes me wish that I could change somehow

When the song finished everyone in the crowd started screaming

Some of the girls chanting 5sos I guess that's how they shorten our name

I was so happy that it went well and that i didn't make any mistakes

The rest of the concert was going to be easy

The next song was out of my limit and my heart fluttered seems so this was the song idea Ashton made about me! With my help of corse

Back in high school we used to take it slow
Red lipstick on and high heel stilettos
Had a job downtown working the servo

The screaming got louder and the adrenaline filled us

On the next three songs we were bouncing around the stage

Doing jumps with the guitars and I even invented something called the luke kick

We were all filled with life Ashton nearly broke his drums but we were lucky and got away with it

As we sang through the covers the crowd sang along and it was amazing

The song that people seemed to enjoy the most out the cover was what I like about you

We got compliments for taking our own spin on things

When we were all up on that stage I truly felt that I belong !
