Chapter 1

[Ashton's pov ]

I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock! Booming through my room

Another day of staring at luke hemmings I mean.... school

I got dressed and said my goodbyes and headed to school!

Most people hate school but I don't I'm known as the cute gay geek and no one bothers me our school has no homophobic people

And also who could hate school when Luke Hemmings goes there talk about perfect!

I headed into school walking through the busy corridors when I felt a weight on my back i was greeted with the face of my best friend

" ashhyyyyy!!" Calum screamed right at me I laughed " cally!" I mimicked the way he said my name

We both walked over to our lockers and got our books out we have pretty much the same lessons

And guess who's in those lessons LUKE HEMMINGS Yeyy!

First lesson was science so we headed there

Someone knocked into me and I fell to the floor groaning in pain

Someone held their hand out for me and I took it only to be meet by the beautiful blue eyes of the boy I'm crushing on!

" oh oh god are you ok? I'm so sorry I wasn't watching where I was going are you hurt" luke exclaimed

"I-I'm f-fine thanks luke" I stuttered " oh good urm ash, Ashton?" He said more like a question I nodded and he smiled and walked off

I sighed loudly and Calum soon said " Ashton you should of pretended you were hurt he is your crush!" I rolled my eyes at him and we headed into the classroom

Me and Calum sat down on random seats in the middle of the classroom and the lesson started

The teacher was going on about some stupid scientific words when the door flew open

Luke hemmings stood awkwardly at the front
of the class then mumbled " sorry I'm late " the teacher just nodded and he sat down next to me

Wait he sat down next to me! Me plain old me I tried my hardest not to gawk over him knowing my look he'd catch me staring

He flung a piece of paper onto my desk and I quickly read it

' hey Ashton, I'm sorry about earlier I feel bad'

I smiled at the note before quickly replying

' it's fine luke don't worry'

I chucked the note onto his desk and he read it nodding in approval

Class soon ended and I started heading to the door where Calum was waiting for me

I felt someone pull me back and I turned around to see luke smiling at me

"U-um hi-I luke w-what do you want? " I questioned he smiled and said " just checking up on you ash "

He winked at me and walked away leaving me with red cheeks

I made my way over to Calum and he was smirking at me I just flipped him off and we walked to our next class

I walked into the music class and sat at the back with Calum

The teacher came to the front and shouted " ok class were doing a project your working with the person seated in front of you and you have to get to know each other and right a song"

I sighed knowing I wasn't with Calum but when I looked in front I saw Luke smiling at me

I saw that Calum was with Luke's best friend michael and I was with luke

Wait? I WAS WITH LUKE HEMMINGS

Luke came and sat next to me jotting down things that we could do

He scratched the back of his neck and asked " um wanna come over to mine tonight or something"

I nodded with a smile and wrote my number down for him I wanted to scream this was like a dream!

School ended as fast as it started me and luke chatted a few times and it was great

At lunch I was abit disappointed that he was sat with loads of girls but oh well

I was now heading to lukes he texted me the address

When I approached his door I sheepishly knocked and took a few steps back

The door flung open and luke pulled me in leading me to his room we both sat on his bed in an awkward silence

"Um so? Do you have any ideads" luke asked I shook my head and he said " um well think of what you think of someone or a situation your in?"

I mumbled " your just a little bit out of my limit" hoping he wouldn't hear but he did

" oh my god ash that's great we should use that in our song" Luke exclaimed

I scratched the back of my head and stuttered " o-oh u-I'm y-yeah" he smiled and we started to jot things down

So far we had

Your just a little bit out of my limit

It's been two years now you haven't even seen the best of me

And in my mind now I've even over this a thousand times

And it's almost over let's start over

"So ash who does that remind you of" I gulped and scanned my mind for an answer

" Oh it really doesn't matter " I said hoping he'd take it

" oh alright"

After that we spoke about the music we liked and we both liked the same music

We were both sat listening to greenday humming along to the words

I felt lukes stare on me so I turned to face him we both stared into eachothers eyes and luke randomly said " you have pretty eyes ashy"

He slapped his hands over his mouth and blushed I just said " thanks lukey?"

Tension was building so I said " oh look at the time I better get going"

Luke smiled and said " ok bye ash it was great hanging with you" I smiled and made my way back home

The whole way home I had a huge smile plastered across my face everything was perfect

He said I had pretty eyes how great is that I know he'll never get with me but I'd hate to see him with someone else

I went to sleep with a huge grin on my face maybe I'm making an impression on luke hemmings?!
